There were stains on the bed sheets, mold and must smelling rotting wood in the bathroom and my husband killed a big cockroach in the bathroom. I would not stay here

Location was brilliant and the staff were super friendly and helpful! Comfy beds and mosquito net which came in useful. The rooms seemed to be hotter than outside and the WiFi completely went off in our rooms and they couldn’t seem to do anything about it. The sink seemed to be handing off slightly in our room so could do with a bit more maintenance.

Probably my worst ever hotel stay. Cockroaches in the room, very dirty sheets, broken lights and unstable foundations. Informed the hotel staff about some of these but no action taken. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere

Really ratchet. If you can avoid, would do. It’s not clean or nice. Not worth the money. Rooms are hot and smell musty. Sheets are stained. Bed is uncomfortable. I had to sleep on my sleeping bag to make it through the night

Lots of character... but also a lot of mozzies!
Heaps of mozzies! We booked a standard room with fan. It was really hot and stuffy. Had to keep window open but beware of the mozzies! The pool was a little green, could be cleaner. The place had character but it wasn’t very clean. The sheets had a few stains. Shower had very little pressure. Small room. Great location. Friendly staff.

Room was ok, staff very nice. The tours they offer are standard throghout the island, reassonable. Location is excellent, 15 min walk from pier, 5 min walk from main attractions, 5 min walk from partying by the beach for youngsters. I am just upset at the fact that i needed 2 extra hours in the room, and they charged me for one full night. I do understand rules are rules, but i feel that they could have been a little more flexible. Rules can always be bent. I would have gladly paid like 10% of what they charged me.

The place is so nice, full of trees. Just only restroom is too small. Big thanks to staff, they were helping me to do handstand (365 days handstand challenge) and charging my cellphone (forgot a charging cable).

Great for the price
We loved this place. We thought it was a great deal for the price. The location was great1 close to town but not in the middle of it so we could sleep at night, but we also didn’t have to hike up a mountain to get to it every day. The AC worked well and we had plenty of hot water for showers. Staff was also nice.

Dirty hotel after 2 rounds of cleaning
We checked in and noticed that the sink had dirt and a broken shower head in the bowl. The bedsheets were stained with brown. We asked the staff to clean it and they sent up a worker. We watched the worker go into our room and decided to give him some space. We went on a tour for 6 hours, came back, and the shower head AND the dirt was still in the sink and the sheets still dirty. Why was a worker in our room if not to clean it?? We asked the staff again to clean the bed and sink. They came in to clean the bathroom but refused to clean the sheets until AFTER we took a picture of the sheets. They didn’t care about our room until we took pictures for evidence.

Great Place
This is one of the nicest and most affordable hotels around, it's at the end of a relatively quite street away from the crowds. Lady's at the front desk will help you with anything and the food is great, bartender at the back pool is amazing also. To anyone who rated this place poor due to the garbage outside and occasional sewer smell, do your research before coming to Phi Phi, that's how it is everywhere in SE Asia. Better yet stay back in America.

nice but not great
the area was good to be out the way of the noise (but only 5 mins away from everything) but the steps up to your bungalow ( we were at the stop) were not lit up and night and very steep. the pool area is lovely but you get no sun there so the pool is freezing and only 6 sunbeds. seemed expensive for what you got but that seemed to be phi phi island all toegther. no where to put you clothes. very basic too. but over all everything was fine x

Stayed at the place for one night, a lot of mosquitoes, sheets were rather dirty and had stains on them. Ventilation was bad.

So-so hotel
The location wasn't bad at this hotel, it was away from the big party scene so it was as quiet as you can get on Koh Phi Phi and the people working were quick with helping what we needed. The room was alright, the air conditioner didn't work great and the wifi was very slow. The bed was also uncomfortable.

Terrible place and over priced for what it is!!!
We payed about 960 Baht for this place and it was a complete dump. Our hotels have been averaging about 500-1100 Baht a night and this one has been the worst place we stayed in and they charged us more than we normal pay for a nice place. Don't let them trick you about their pool either it sucks and closes at 800 at night. I would pay a max of 500 Baht for this place. Also their a/c doesn't work so don't be sold on that.

UNSAFE & DIRTY DO NOT STAY HERE
Aircon didn't work, every window was smashed with broken netting not to mention the lock on the door didn't work along with a huge gap for snakes to get under the front door. Towels and bedding STANK! With a sign on the front door saying beware of attacking monkeys. Service was poor when we asked to change bungalows we were refused so we had to walk straight out and find somewhere else and lose the money we paid. There was one plug socket in the whole place that was hanging off the wall ! It was unsafe from wildlife and from anyone else who wanted to steal our belongings. Pool was filthy and service was shocking plus a TREK to get there from the pier. Not worth a £1 !

Cockroach on my face???
We got there. Nice island jungle feel to it. Pool was ok it had a good idea to it, nice setting etc. The rooms were basic, but we were ok with that and didn't expect too much for the price. However we later discovered that the sheets weren't clean and they had a kind of damp feel to them. Not very comfortable!! So as we had showered to get ready for bed, there were so many flies that had appeared in our room and 2 big lizards. So we had to battle with the flies and lizards to get them out. This made us feel prettt uncomfortable.. and it had a creepy crawling sense to it in the entire place. That's ok if you don't mind that sort of thing and don't mind that kind of experience!! However it was all too much when... I woke up to feeling something on my face. Woke instantly sat up and saw it sat there on the bed next to me automatically brushing it off away from me, that's when I then discovered a massive cockroach. My partner tries to catch it to get it out, it went under the bed to then persist to get straight back on the bed again. That's when we caught it. After that we was up pretty much the entire night fearing another cockroach or go knows what on us again. Night from hell. Check out immediately the next morning. Went to Phi Phi Dream. Had a nice room there. So bottom line is... maybe don't book this hotel if you like clean sheets at least and you don't want bugs in your room and most of all on your face!!

True island vibes
What I loved most about these bungalows were the island vibes, trees and pool area. The hidden-away swim up bar adds a nice relaxing touch. The rooms are clean enough for what you pay for. The only downfall of the experience was that the doors to the rooms don't seal shut all the way so I got a leg full of mosquito bites. It's a quick 5 minute walk to the upper bay where most of the bar scene is located. All things considered I would stay there again!

Quaint Jungle Bungalow
Place was in a good location. They send someone to the pier to help you carry your luggage which was nice. The rooms are basic accommodation. We did find a cockroach one evening but as your near the jungle it's hard not to expect. We asked at the front desk and they sprayed our room and then never saw anymore. For the cost of this hotel the pool is a huge added feature and a nice spot to get out of the heat and party scene. I would stay here again.

Our garden view room actually overlooked the local water holding tank, which was filled with foul looking water so not the most pleasant of views. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good.

Nice Accommodation for the Area
Nice accommodation in a slightly out-of-the-way spot around the main area of Phi Phi. The room was clean, but if you're not used to fan cooled rooms, you might want to pay a little extra for an air conditioned one; especially as the wooden bungalow acts as a insulator for heat. This side of the island is a little noisy; not the fault of the accommodation, but if you're after a quiet stay, you might want to consider finding an area further away from all the main attractions of Phi Phi, which appears to be a mostly westernised beach party area. There's a nice, deep and cool pool here that connects to a decent bar and the staff are very nice and pleasant in keeping with most Thai service. The accommodation is a short five minute walk away from the busiest areas and beaches of the island, which is a good thing as music on the island can play very loudly each night until 2am. Overall, I was quite happy with the accommodation itself and would recommend it to anyone wanting to come to this part of Phi Phi, but if you're not inclined to partying every night, this might not be the area for you.

No tropical paradise here
The staff was very nice, they had a pretty nice pool with a swim up bar, WiFi was pretty good, and it was pretty cool to have my own private bungalow on a beautiful island, but that's pretty much where the compliments end. My bungalow was pretty run down and the bathroom was gross. I'm sure the sheets were clean, but they were all stained with god-knows-what. The bed wasn't very comfortable, the bathroom door didn't close and the light in the bathroom flickered all night, after it had been turned off. The write-up says that they offer daily housekeeping, but after my first night, I asked why no one had made up my room, I was told it was only done every 2 days. To top it all off, there's a rooster that lives on the property. The first morning he started crowing somewhere around 6am, DIRECTLY outside my window.

We arrived at 2:30pm and our rooms were not ready yet. We wanted to utilize the rest of the day by going to the beach, however we couldn't get in until 4pm!!! The lady said they were very busy that day and she basically ruined our afternoon and when we pressured her she gave us an attitude big time. We booked "Suite deluxe room". The room was big however, bed mattress was very old, thin, and uncomfortable. The sheets were dirty, we used our own pillow cases. Toilet had very low water pressure and most times we couldn't flush. The rooms were very humid so nothing got dried out!!! We paid $53 per night for this room which was not worth at all. Wifi didn't work in the room even though our room (B1) was closer to the reception area. The only good thing about this place is that it's location. Close to the center, bars, restaurants yet away from all the noise. We are in our early 40s, not back packers, so I certainly do not recommend this place to those looking for a comfort and cleanliness. If willing to spend $10 extra a night, then I suggest the gypsy or andaman. We passed by them several times, beautiful resorts next to the beach and also 20 min to all the fun.

Such a cute place! Perfect get away. Close to all bars and beaches but you get your own personal space without paying so much! Would definitely stay again!

Nice Hotel
This hotel has a beautiful style, you feel like you're in a jungle! It is a little expensive but for what it actually is though. The pros is that it's a little walk from town, which means that you cannot hear the nightclub music from you right room at night. It is also close to the view point too. Downside wasn't that the property isn't upkeeped well. Bed sheets were clean but had stains on them. Shower isn't the strongest, toilet didn't flush, but they soon fixed it, bathroom light broke too. I would go back here, as I didn't mind it, but if I were to return to the phi phi islands I'd try out a nicer hotel maybe closer to the beach!

It was great that's hat hotel is not in the clubbing area. Very quiet at night but walking distance to main town n beaches . Room is good and big enough for two people but it looks old. I found a few bugs but I think it is normal due to the area which is very tropical.

Tropical Garden rustic but easy location.
This is backpacker rustic style. En suite but low water pressure but does the job just a little more time needed if you have thick hair to wash. Toilet worked fine. Fan in room with window open was fine for me. Lots of mosquitos. My net had holes in and was old dingey. Ew. Towels old and smell after 1st use. Doubt they're washed at sufficiently high temperatures. Cleaned as best they can. Just linens towels and nets need refreshing. View from room was of trees hills and some trash below. But nice breeze and smell free from our room. Phi phi has open gutters with dirty smelly water. Too many tourists in Phi Phi and Tropical Garden is a quieter stay. Nice pool side lounging. Easy to walk everywhere. If u can rough it slightly you will be ok but expect no luxury. Except the cool temp pool again is very nice.

Overpriced
The room was not clean. The bed was made but the sheet covering the base of the bed had mold on them. The shower had not been cleaned and had dirt all over. I was disappointed with the price considering two people came at the same time as us and got a similar room for a fraction of the price.

Peacefull place up on The hill
Peacefull place up on The hill, away from Tonsai party town. Still easy to walk everywhere. Otherwise fine, bathroom quite old and Bad condition, The pool is awesome. Staff was ok, helpfull but not very smily.
