Amazing location which is why I returned. Great price. Mediocre breakfast. But wow brown water from faucets which hopefully are fixed by now. Room door opening took supreme skill. Go for the beach don’t expect much.

Great hotel all in all. Our room was good, the staff were awesome. It was convenient have two stores on site and the restaurant was awesome and good pricing. Breakfast buffet included was definitely a bonus

Haad Yao area is wonderful. But the hotel has issues. Not the end of the world if you stay here but do your research. There are much better options. PROS: Haad Yao bay is lovely/swimmable/safe. Rooms are clean. Nice breakfast for 150 Baht. Nice views. Decent price. CONS: Bayview Hotel is 12 stories and no elevator. Wanna go to the beach? You gotta plan/pack like it’s a day trip. Rooms are decent at best. Staff are rough around the edges, stressed. Not the end of the world if this is your only option. Do not worry about the severely bad 1 star reviews, but also you should ignore the 5-star reviews. This is a real 3-stars. Hope this helps :)

Great location on the beach. Good range of breakfast menu options and helpful staff in the restaurant. We organised our onward trip to Koh Tao with reception and this turned out well. Overall, our famiily of 4 had a great stay.

Rude reception staff

The reception woman was really rude. Our wifi didn’t work at all even tho we paid for it. When we told about it to staff, they didn’t care. I told her I need to work from here and she told me to go to lobby to do my work. Without air condition.

Thailand adventure

I know the hotel wont reply to this review, as they haven't replied to any others. Upon arrival, we were told by reception that they never received our booking but when i showed them confirmation, they said they just received the email but the room we booked was not available until the next day so we had to stay in another room which was not as nice. The hotel needs to look deeply at their staff, they are rude, unhelpful and never smile. It is such a shame as the hotel is in a perfect position but visitors dont appear to want to eat or drink there. Also, be aware that if you ask reception to arrange transfer back to the ferry, they will leave you waiting for half hour. I will definitely return to Haad Yao but not this hotel

Fint hotell, men ikke pusset opp i ettertid av bygging, så noe gammelt. Du vil ikke få noe hjelp av de som jobber der, svært dårlig service der de ansatte heller vil sitte bak kassa og se på Instagram.

Hade valt ett annat hotell

Helt okej hotell vid få nätter, det är många jobbiga trappor. Sängarna var helt ok. Personalen hade ingen service minde över huvud taget. Stranden i övrigt är helt fantastisk, finns några härliga restauranger!!

Sie hatten unser Zimmer für eine Nacht vergeben, somit wurden wir für eine Nacht in tonghsala untergebracht und konnten erst einen Tag später einchecken. Kein sorry oder irgendetwas, sowas unfreundliches an der Rezeption haben wir noch nie erlebt!!!

A éviter établissement sur le déclin

L'hôtel est quasi à l'abandon. les parties communes ne sont pas nettoyées, le bâtiment est mal conçu et peu pratique. Nous avions opté pour une très grande chambre située en hauteur. Pas de mauvaise surprise sur la surface de la chambre mais cette dernière est totalement vide à l'exception d'un lit et d'un canapé (inconfortable). Pas d'eau chaude et des draps d'une couleur peu rassurante. Le frigo ne marchait pas est était noir de saleté. la safety box HS et la télécommande la clim en kit. A éviter. Il y a mieux au même prix sur toute la plage

Terrible service.

When I was there to check-in, a staff couldn't find my booking. I was trying to give her information that I booked through Hotels.com. Instead of listening, she told me to stay still and kept searching for papers from another applications. She also tried to talk to another customer even there was already another staff was talking care about his case. She took my phone to see information about the booking but didn't return and kept talking to her colleague. When I asked her to get my phone back, she strongly refused that she did not take my phone! At the end, she returned it but without apology. She said that she would make a refund for me but 2 days later, she was still not! It was the worst service I had ever had.

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, Haare etc vom Vorgänger, Abflüsse im Bad stanken. Der safe war kaputt, wurde erst am 3. Tag repariert. Man bot mir an in einen anderen Bungalow zu ziehen. Fann wäre der Ausblick auf das Meer schlechter gewesen. Der Abfluss in der dische ear ziemlich dicht. Das hat an der Rezeption nicht wirklich jemanden interessiert. Für den Preis habe ich etwas bessere Sauberkeit und freundlicheres Personal erwartet.einfach zu teuer

Our expectation based on price and pictures was an above average hotel but we would have been better off at the hostel down the road. Stained sheets and towels, lack of cleaning, poor service and a general feeling that no one cares about the guests means we won’t be coming back

Horrible and diorty

Very rude receptionist that was more intrested in charging us twice for breakfast that we had already included. The breakfast was dreadful. The rooms are not clean, unchanged bed sheets etc. We had a room with private jacuzzi but there was no privacy as anyone could walk thru your balcony as there is a walkaway. Horrible hotel not worth the money. We gad a bbq and the meat was so tough we couldn't eat it but were still charged for it.

Nous avons demeuré 2 nuits. Le lit est confortable. Il a un bbq le soir... c’est bon. Les dépanneur proches de l’hôtel sont très dispendieux. Belles plages aux alentours . Un peu cher pour le prix payé.

You'll keep fit!

Lovely beach. Quite nice rooms. You must be a little bit fit to get back and forth the rooms as ours was up a very steep hill and lots of high steps. Have stayed in a few other places along the beach in the past. The beach and sunsets here are amazing!!
