WARNING! AVOID!
Save yourself, do not book here. I have never written a 1-star review for a hotel, but felt I had to save others from choosing this “establishment”. Where to start. Reception is a joke - rolled her eyes and appeared severely irritated that I asked for the WiFi password. THE ROOM. Covered in ants. There is nowhere to put the luggage where ants will not be in it except the bed. Bedding had multiple holes and stains. The “comforter” was made up of a flat sheet rolled in a fleece blanket (with cigarette burns) and a fitted sheet on top (?). Mold on ceiling and covering floor in bathroom - shower shoes a MUST. Dried dark fluids on walls. Attempted to get my money back for leaving early through Hotels.com, who had to call the hotel for approval. You guessed it - they did not approve, quoting the “cancellation policy”. To make it worse, hotel then came by and offered housekeeping, as if this was compensation for not refunding the unused amount. Unreal. Don’t waste your frustration on this place.

Had a super time here for full moon party. Fun and friendly staff, loved the pool and the beautiful ocean views. The all you can eat and drink pre party package was a nice touch too.

Can't fault my stay at Asia Blue, staff were great, location was great and place had a nice vibe. My friend hurt himself while we were out during the day and staff helped us find a good doctor.

Pool needs a clean
We decided to book because we wanted somewhere with a pool but the pool was super green and seemed kind of dirty... our room was hot and holes in the floor. Good location though!

Great price, nice staff & tours available onsite
Our overall stay here was wonderful. The entire staff that works at Asia Blue is very friendly and welcoming. This hostel is also linked to a great bar nearby where they have nightly events, making it a great starting point at night. In addition they offer many tours, we did the Asia Blue land tour on our 2nd day and it was a highlight of our trip plus a great way to get to know the island. They do have Wifi but it can be somewhat weak unless you are at the restaurant but I believe they were adding better ones. If you are looking to go diving or get PADI certified the course is offered within the hostel. Many nearby restaurants and bars but if staying for a longer period of time I do recommend having a scooter in order to see the entire island. If we come back this will be our go to spot as we truly loved the environment, especially being able to walk out of our room and be right on the sand facing the water and next to the pool.

I stayed in a 10 bed dorm on my first night, they didn't give me a blanket, the bed was uncomfortable and the toilet didn't have a seat attached. The beach isn't very nice so I moved up to a hostel on the west coast

Great little resort right on the beach
Hacienda is a great resort in a perfect place - it is next to Thongsala and all the civilization, supermarkets, restaurants etc. but further away from all the teenage party people in Haad Rin Beach. It means that you can actually have a good rest here. Pool is a great advantage too. The only minus is that the WiFi only works in the restaurant area and only in the rooms next to it.

Rude staff, small rooms with no A/C - Avoid it!
On checking in the staff were rude and unhelpful. A group of us were staying and most got a room which only had a fan not A/C (one day it got to 45'c inside the room!), and the toilet didn't have a flush - we had to pour water in to make it flush. One evening the water went off and was off until the following morning, we weren't warned about it and no one apologised.

Worst place I have ever stayed at
Absolutely terrible. Do not stay here. I booked on hotels.com two months in advance and one week prior to my stay they emailed me to say that they had lost my booking and only just found it now so there were no rooms left. They made me pay for an upgrade. The rooms were absolutely disgusting and the beach was unswimmable because of sharp rocks. They offered us free pickup from the pier but there was no one to pick us up.

Best hotel on the strip.
Great vibe. Best staff on the island. The restaurant next to the affiliate hostel has the best chef on the island. I'm coming back.

Nice place & good location.
Nice place,friendly staff and good location. Stayed in basic fan hut which was very clean. Pool bar is popular & plays music every night so if you want peace get a room nearer reception.

I thought maybe only a few people who had bad reviews actually wrote them up and the good times were not worth mentioning, but there are no good times to be had here. I am a budget traveler/backpacker and I don't expect much, but when you advertise something and sell for higher cost you expect to get what you paid for. We paid extra for a beach house only to be informed at check in that there is no such type of room at this hotel. We were placed in a room that was advertised on hotels.com as well, but it was advertised for a much lower/reduced rate. When asked for a refund, the receptionist said that they cannot, even though they know we paid a much higher rate than is advertised at their front desk. To add insult to injury, the receptionist initially placed me and my wife for our honey moon in a room with three twin beds. Only after much discussion about the wrong room would he change us to a same type of room but with a double bed. We would like a refund and the room to be taken off of hotels.com advertisement for this resort. There is no "beach house". If we knew that we would have booked somewhere else that did. Hotels.com has led us astray on what was supposed to be a magical getaway.

Kann man machen muss man aber nicht
Also die tägliche Zimmer Reinigung ist schonmal weggefallen! Der Ausblick war schön. Die Hängematte hats ausgemacht. Beim Duschen kam kaum Wasser und die Bettwäsche war ebenfalls nicht sauber. DAS Meer vor der Haustür kann man leider erst abends betreten und der Pool wird zwar mehr oder weniger gereinigt aber darin baden wöllte ich nicht, da es nach den Partys ziemlich ekelhaft aussieht. Das Personal war hilfsbereit aber nicht alle freundlich. Der Aufenthalt ist definitiv erträglich, wenn man nicht den ganzen Tag dort verbringen möchte.

Petit bungalow simple et pas cher. Ventilateur petite sdb personnelle. Il faut être conscient que ce n'est pas des bungalows de luxe mais des bungalows à 10 euros la nuit !

spitzen Lage, man kann vieles zu Fuß erreichen
das Bungalow war sauber, allerdings fehlten Ablagemöglichkeiten sehr! Es stand nur das Doppelbett in der Mitte des Raumes und eine Minibar in der Ecke, ansonsten gab es kein Kästchen, Schrank o. ä. wo man Sachen ablegen konnte. Das Bad ist typisch Thailand, jedoch relativ groß. Das wlan war die reinste Katastrophe, da hatten wir meist nur am Pool gute Reichweite, im Bungalow leider nicht! Insgesamt wars für uns aufgrund der Lage, auch bzgl. der Fullmoon Party perfekt und der Preis war total fair!

Petit dej cool et copieux.piscine propre et sympa. En face de la plage et bien situé sur l'île 1 petit km de Thongsala. Diving avec bouteille ou snorkeling. Bref je le conseille vraiment pour les petits budgets rapport qualité prix parfait.pour finir petite salle de sport et (chilout).

Bungalow sehr spartanisch eingerichtet, wird über Nacht sehr warm. Aber für das schlafen und duschen ausreichend. Pluspunkte sind der Außenpool und der 20m entfernte Strand, außerdem die Lage! (Vom Hafen zu Fuß in 15 Minuten erreichbar)

Der strandabSchnitt ist nicht der schönste, zum tauchen lernen geeignet, sonst nicht zu empfehlen. Zimmer sauber, allerdings keine Möglichkeit Sand vor Eintritt des Zimmers wegzuspülen etc, keine moskitonetze!!!

I was there for two Nights, acutally it was pretty good. But they didn't clean the room anyway. It doesn't metter if you stay in a two bed room or in a dorm, they should clean it. Anythig Else was brilliant.

Fue un desastre, Los de la limpieza nos robaron 6000bats que tenamos escondidos en una maleta. Trabajadores del complejo desagradables al tratar con ellos por lo del robo. No hay nevera refrigerador en las habitaciones. Piscina sucia de la arena de la playa, no hay ducha para los que bienen de la playa y se tienen que meter con la arena en el cuerpo. Restaurante muy caro, mejor comer en el pueblo Chalok Lam, andando esta a 5-8Min.

Fijn hotel in de rust.
Kamer was eenvoudig, maar schoon en netjes. Fijn zwembad. Strand viel wat tegen. Goed restaurant met vriendelijk personeel en een hele goede keuken. Problemen worden snel opgelost. Het enige wat lastig ws is dat je je paspoort gedurende je verblijf in moet leveren. Dit krijg je na kamercontrole bij vertrek pas terug.

Elendigt!
Røg, støj og møg! Det værste, jeg endnu har prøvet. Den daglige rengøring, de gratis toiletartikler og vand eksisterede ikke. Intet myggenet. Til gengæld masser af kakerlakker, væggelus o.m.a. Larmende musik hver aften/nat. Arrogant personale. Restauranten dyr og dårlig.

En bit från butiker och restauranger, så vi stannade mesta tiden på hotellet. Bokningsservice på hotellet så att vi kunde boka transfer och utflykter, bra. Rummen var dock inget att hurra för. Hade bokat ett standardrum för två, men det var fängelselikt, framför allt toaletten som saknade avlopp till duschen och istället hade hål i väggen där vattnet skulle rinna ut. Bytte till en bungalow som var större, billigare och bättre. Dock med en trasig planka utanför i verandan som man fick se upp med. Hotellpersonalen pratade bra engelska och var lätt att kommunicera med. Detta gällde inte restaurangpersonalen. Vi fick förtydliga och returnera både en och två gånger. Vill man få städat måste man lämna in nyckeln i receptionen. Detta förstod vi först när vi checkade ut efter tre dagar utan städning.

Vi hade tre nätter här, en natt i "standard AC" hängmattan var ett plus, minus för myrorna på väggen och den icke täta dörren. Två nätter i vad de kallar "beach house"- detta var bara ett lite finare rum på plan 2/2, betydligt bättre än standardrummet men inget beachhouse, havsutsikt ja.. Men det har de flesta rum på denna resort. På bilderna kan man tro att det är strand precis intill- det är stort stenras att passera sedan en meter bred strand. MEN trevlig personal!

für 700 thb/nacht noch nichts schlechteres gesehen
Einzigster Pluspunkt an dem Zimmer war wohl die prall gefüllte Minibar (wenn auch zu den allg. üblichen überteierten Preisen). Das Bett bestand aus einer Matratze auf dem Boden. Ansonsten gab es noch einen total versüfften Ventilator, einen Mülleimer, eine Steckdose, einen Aschenbecher 2 Handtücher mit ekligen Flecken drauf und ein kleines Regal. Das wars dann aber auch schon mit der Zimmerausstattung. Das Bad sah aus als wurde es in den letzten 2 Jahren nicht gereinigt, der Sifon vom Waschbecken war defekt, s.d. einem unweigerlich alles auf die Füße tropft was man oben hineinleert. und dann war da noch dieser bestialische Gestank im Zimmer..eine Mischubg aus vermoderten Pflanzen vom Wasserloch 3m entfernt, Schimmel und Abfluss.. Und dafür sollte man zu allem überfluss auch noch den Personalausweis als Pfand hinterlegen. - sicherlich nie wieder!

Fina rum å fin pool, kunde dock varit belyst på natten. Sedan var de inte snabba i köket. Men trevlig personal som hjälpte oss å byta hotell med rabatter..
