"Very special place 30 or so minutes outside of Kandy, near Wattegama. A few individual cabin-esque rooms (with en-suite) around a cute courtyard of natural spring pool, pond, hammocks etc. Very attentative hosts who really demonstrate Sri Lankan hospitality at its best. The walk around the spice garden and local village was so interesting. Such a unique bonus to make this more of an experience than just a bed for the night. "The hotel exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the bathrooms were also well maintained. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. Imantha at the reception was particularly friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend this hotel to others."

"Stayed 1 night in August, wish it had been longer. Lovely hotel overlooking the lake, a really nice setting. Food at the restaurant was very good, and the rooftop swimming pool was perfect for unwinding in the evening after a long day of sightseeing. Would happily stay again, ideally for longer next time."

"The staff went above and beyond to welcome us. When I thought I'd lost my passport they were ready to help in whatever way they could. The breakfast and dinner were terrific. In addition to all the traditional breakfast items there was a wide assortment of local dishes. We sampled as many as we could. The pool was lovey, the gym was clean and the hot tub was delightful. We made it to the nightclub and danced to the DJ who started at 6pm. We went at 8pm and had the dance floor to ourselves. We had an issue with some guests two rooms down from us that were very loud at 3am. I informed the staff and it ended about 15 minutes later."
