"We had always wanted to stay on a Tea Estate in the hills and this did not disappoint. A great tour of the estate was arranged either the Tea Estate Manager and was an excellent insight into how tea is grown and picked. Great views from the veranda. Staff most helpful."

"Umesh and Danushka of Clove Villa made our stay above and beyond what we were expecting. This was one of the best accommodations on our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka with rooms and villa hotel decorated beautifully with a fantastic peaceful pool area. "We loved our stay at this resort. The drive up was pretty intense as it’s out the way, so we didn’t spend loads of time in the accommodation but wow the views were incredible morning & evening looking out to the river!! Food was nice, staff very friendly. They had dogs on site which were very friendly also. Can be very noisy throughout the night with dogs howling and birds."

"This is the ideal place to be away from the daily rut. I was away from work on vacation and made the best of my time relaxing by the pool a day at the spa, the body massage I highly recommend. The bar lounge staff were polite and courteous, don’t miss to order Bloody Mary. Room service was amazing, quick and suggested entrees. One of the managers Mr Mithun was awesome he came to rescue one night when a private party was too loud. Overall the best hotel in Kandy. Thank you for making my stay memorable. "

"The property and staff were all amazing. The breakfast and dinner was good. Getting a ride via pick me can take some time as not all drivers want to come up the hill. Make sure you a lot enough time for travel. We were going to be late for our train because a PickMe driver canceled. But the hotel made some calls and arranged for a quick Tuk Tuk ride and we made it right in time. "
