"Throughout the entire hotel the staff were easily the #1 star. Exceptionally friendly at check-in, breakfast and anywhere else. Hotel wise it's a fabulous location if you're going car free as it's a 2 minutes walk from the airport bus and 2 minutes to the train. The rooms are clean, very spacious but sound proofing could be improved. Breakfast is hot, plenty of options and a nice large area."

"I needed to cancel my stay because of the weather last weekend. I would have put my life at risk if I had tried to drive from my home to Calgary on Thursday night. When I tried to cancel I was told I would have to pay because of a policy. The person from the Westin was unwilling to move on the issue. I will never stay at the Westin again."

"Small room overall. Shower wand was broken. The hallway was incredibly hot and had an unpleasant odor. They added a previously undisclosed $220.00 fee for the stay which was a surprise on arrival and was over and above the pre-paid 2 night stay for $433.98. All-in all, not worth the stay and will look elsewhere in the future."

"Disappointing stay at Sandman Hotel. Requested a lower floor multiple times due to my child’s difficulty with elevators—no response and was told it wasn’t possible. We were placed on the 12th floor and only moved to the 5th after insisting at check-in. Hotel advertises being family-friendly but showed little understanding for sensory needs. We even had to clean our own room after requesting housekeeping. Raised concerns at check-out, but nothing was done. Customer service needs serious improvement."
