We had a very good stay for two nights in this lovely hotel. Breakfast excellent, owners super friendly and very service-oriented. Very easy to get into central Vienna via train and bus.

Could not recommend Hotel Residenz Schrannenhof enough! From literally the moment we walked in, we were treated like family and felt fully and wonderfully taken care of. They allowed us to check in early so we could nap after our long trip from the US, given recommendations on restaurants/bars and info on train tickets, and the breakfast was amazing every morning! The staff are incredible and our room was big and perfect. Plus, the hotel is literally right across the street from the train station (and bus station as well), so it was a quick ride into Vienna every day. Being outside of the city have us quiet after a long day as well, but we never felt far from the fun. If/when we come back to Vienna, we wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else!!

Can I move in?!? This was the best place I've stayed in a long time. And I travel A LOT. Hotel is beautiful and historic and staff so FRIENDLY. Wonderful breakfast, bed, modernized accommodations in a historic building. Right across from train station - so it's super easy to get to and from Vienna (only E. 4.40 per trip). Highly recommend it and will definitely stay again if I'm ever back in Klosterneuburg.

This is a gorgeous historic property outside of town near the Klosterneuberg monastery. I chose it because I prefer green historic, authentically Austrian places. The staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. Just know what you're in for: It's a 20 minute bus or train ride to Heiligenstadt. It's a place built in the 13th century and can smell a little musty at first and the bathrooms are typically Austrian. Bed and bedding were also AWESOMELY Austrian, breakfast is both authentically Austrian and DELICIOUS, so this is perfect if you want an authentic experience and are comfortable outside of town.

Hotel Schrannenhof I Klosterneuburg

Charmerende ældre hotel med masser af historie. Det sødeste personale, smilende, imødekommende og opmærksomme ved morgenbordet. Rustik og hyggelig morgenmadsstue og et pragtfuldt morgenbord. Bussen til Heiligenstadt holder ved hoveddøren. Det koster 2 euro pr. Person. Fra Heiligenstadt kan du bruge din Wienerlinien billet hvis du har en sådan. Gælder busser, tog,sporvogn og U Bahn og koster 27 euro for en uge.

Traditionelle Unterkunft mit tollem Personal

Das Hotel ist phantastisch. Es ist kein modernes Haus, sondern ein traditioneller Bau, der sehr gut in die Funktion eines Hotels überführt wurde. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und mit viel Liebe bereitet. Hier komme ich gern wieder.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber in bester Lage

Die Buchung über Hotels.com war unkompliziert und hat sehr gut funktioniert. Der Empfang im Hotel war freundlich und wir wurden nach dem Check-in sofort in unser Zimmer begleitet. Das Hotel hat schon eine langjährige Historie und entsprechend eine sympathische "Patina". Aufzug gab es zur Bauzeit des Hotels noch keine, entsprechend sollte man als halbwegs gut zu Fuss sein können. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig mit allem üblichen Komfort eingerichtet, ausreichend gross und sauber. Wir hatten das Glück ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof zu haben, entsprechend war es wunderbar ruhig. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig und man wurde sehr gut vom sehr freundlichen Personal umsorgt. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Super nettes Personal und es passte alles, Bahnhof für den 400er Bus vor der Tür und in 30 Minuten in Wien sein. Großes Buffet fürs Frühstück und regionale Kost. Wenn ich wieder nach Wien fahre würde ich es wieder buchen.
