Resport is not that old so still very much in good shape (eg decking round the pool, tiles loose in pool area etc) minor but will need to be addressed. As we went in the off season there was low patronage - gret for us - but main restaurant (Pakarang) closed for lunch and dinner as a result. "Wonderful 5 day stay at Purana for our honeymoon. The people who staff the resort are so very friendly and helpful. A highlight was the boat trip to Kong Island and also riding around the island in the resort’s Honda scooter with sidecar. "

"We had absolutely amazing stay in the tented pool villa! The moment I saw the place I wish we had booked a longer stay! So beautiful, peaceful and luxurious. Breakfast served to the room, floating breakfast possible if requested. Barely any mosquitoes where we stayed and the staff puts repellents on in the rooms before it gets dark.
