The décor is bold but actually works really well as in contrast with the old building. The rooms are much more serene in tone. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but we had some drinks in the bar which were delicious (although a little pricey!). Location is perfect for exploring Edinburgh and at the end of the day of exploring there multiple choices close for food and libations. "

"The hotel is beautiful. The temperature inside the hotel is warm, considering the cold and rainy Edinburgh weather, the people cannot do enough for you, and it’s in a great location. The only problem is outside the hotel, it’s very busy because there’s the train stop right there and the bus stop but you’re centrally located so that is great.
