"We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. "Got a last minute deal and was then upgraded. Very comfy bed, quiet room wifi worked well , refurbished shower hot and strong. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious . Minimal staff tried hard and very friendly. "

"The breakfast was superb. We tried the evening menu special which was a Pheasant breast.It wasn't the best I've tasted, it was nicely presented but it was rather salty and dry.
The bed mattress provided a good nights sleep and the room was spacious and clean. Well worth the 5 stars"

"Bar service was slow. Breakfast in the restaurant wasn't great. Everything was pre-cooked, and the fried eggs had obviously been sat there for a long time. In the bistro the breakfasts were freshly cooked and amazing"
