"We had an absolutely amazing one night stay here! The accommodation is amazing and such a homey feeling. The room was a great size and came with everything we needed. Was a nice surprise to have a cheese platter and crackers on arrival! Breakfast was great, truely couldn’t fault our stay. The hosts were so lovely and helpful, would highly recommend to stay here and will definitely come back!"

"This resort is convenient to stay at, in terms of proximity to most of the attractions around Taupō. However, it is definitely not up to Accor’s 4 star standards. Despite being old, the carpets are worn out, the ceilings are cracking, the bathrooms are stained and the rooms have a dusty smell. I loved Wairakei 10 years ago, but this was my 4th a final stay, unfortunately. The staff and facilities in the resort are helpful, but it is in need of a major facelift.
