"Reception staff were very friendly, our room was ready, despite only being just before 2pm. Great location right in the heart of the town centre. Walking distance to almost everything. The Kingsgate shopping centre is just a stoll away, albeit uphill. There is a wide selection of bars close by. The Alhambra Theatre is only about a 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. Not a buffet, but you can have your choice of cooked items. The toaster was a joy, a single turn through the grill. All in all a lovely wee overnight stay. "

"Room was clean, fresh and adequate for our needs. The breakfast however was not so good. Cooked items were barely tepid and the ingredients were definitely on the cheap side. But it is a "free breakfast" so i guess you get what you pay for. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Despite the breakfast, I would stay again."

"bathroom, around the bath tub. They don't come in to clean rooms, change towels or make beds unless you ask them. Had to ask them a few times for toilet paper. People hanging around the outside by windows. drinking and swearing. No restaurant to get breskfast because under renovations. The only thing that made this bearable was the front desk staff."

"Wonderful short stay at Barnet House. Easy check-in with a code upon entry system. The unit had a full kitchen with high quality, brand new amenities including pots and pans, coffee maker, utensils and nice ceramics too. The unit would be have been even better if there was a least one shelf to put away groceries and a place to hang clothes or jackets, even a few hooks on the wall would make a huge difference if we wanted to stay longer than a few nights. The location can‘t be beat. All the local sites are within walking distance and just steps away from a world of shopping and dining opportunities. Would definitely return if we‘re in the area again. "This was a wonderful stay. Close to many areas for visit, yet far enough to be quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was a huge plus. Yvonne and Gray were very accommodating. Highly recommend. "
