The hosts are nice people, but this motel is in need of serious updating. Imagine a 1960s B-movie motel with dark plywood paneling, tacky pictures, disinfectant smell, poor lighting, and a pink bathroom. The bed was slanted toward the back wall and uncomfortable. I bumped my head a few times on an immovable lighting fixture attached to the wall just above the headboard. We finally switched directions and slept with our feet toward the wall. The continental breakfast was OK with muffins, cereal, bagels, and yogurt. However, the coffee was terribly weak and had no flavor.
