"What an amazing property. A real hidden gem. Property was much larger and more spacious than I expected from the listing. Social living areas downstairs were just fabulous and bedroom spaces upstairs were great. A couple of the bedrooms a bit rough round the edges however all bedrooms nice and clean. "The property was in a lovely location and handy for local amenities! Very quiet and lovely to sit outside and listen to the bagpipes on a morning! The only down side was the drive down to the property and the potholes if they were filled in it would have been a much easier drive in and out. "

"My partner and I visited for one night, we were both very impressed. We booked a standard room, it was spacious, clean and had dual aspect windows. We didn’t manage to eat at the main hotel however the meal we had at the sister restaurant was really good value. The main bar looks like it’s recently been refurbished, a great place to chill out and the bartenders were very friendly. The Victorian spa was definitely worth visiting but I’m not sure that charging hotel guests for its use is entirely justifiable. "

"Very friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds. Lovely views from the top floor restaurant. Evening meal was good and good choices for breakfast. Easy to walk to the village too. The hotel is large and caters for big groups but we were lucky that it was quite a quiet night when we stayed. Wouldn't stop us booking another time."
