"This is a centrally located hotel in Kilkenny with a good bar featuring live music. Rooms are quite large and comfortable but are dated and could use a face lift.
The lobby was jammed with a bus tour during check in so that was a poor experience for us as the desk was jammed and the lift was too. Welcome cocktail was a sweet fruity affair that couldn’t be swapped for a different...

"Great, classic family owned hotel in the heart of Kilkenny. Lots of charm and character. Stayed for four nights with my wife and adult children, and had a great time."

"The room was not perfectly clean, but the view was beautiful, and the location was perfect- right in between the bus stop and the main attractions of the city. So close to everything! The staff was kind enough to keep our luggage while we toured after we had checked out. The pub was perfect after a day of wandering"

"Our stay was excellent filled with Irish hospitality at its finest. Our meals were wonderful, accommodations for gluten free was met with ease and tasty. Breakfast was delicious and the service again was outstanding. Our room was newly renovated with very comfortable beds, clean with the added bonus of a common kitchen area where we were able to play cards comfortably. Lucas was outstanding and helpful with directions, recommendations and a large bag of ice for us Canadians.
Great location."
