"This is a beautiful place to stay. The view is spectacular. Rooms were clean and the staff was amazing. The only issue was that we expected a tv, but didn't have one. But found out that we didn't need it after all. That was the only reason I gave it 4 stars."

Loch Shiel Hotel
"The only things the Loch Shiel had going for it was that it was clean and on the way to where we were going. The view out the back of the hotel was a very nice bonus. The staff aside from the bartender was grouchy, cold and unfriendly. Absolutely zero Highland hospitality. The menu you see online ..."

"Helpful staff. Allowed parking during the day before check in. Had a superior room which was very spacious and included a fridge and coffee machine. Dinner staff found a quieter place for us in the busy dining space (unusually the bar area was quieter)."
