On a hilltop with views across Lake Tanganyika, the property is very large with beautiful lawns and gardens. A couple of zebras, goats, geese and other birds are found on the property. The restaurant is perched on the bluff with expansive lake views. Food was good, room was clean, and staff were friendly. Airport transportation and area tours can be arranged.

Hotel grounds cover a huge area with zebras, monkeys and private beach on the Lake. But food was a little basic, wifi intermittent. Could do with a guide in the room wrt. to faciilties, plus TVs with plugs that match the sockets, air conditioning ready to work via remote control etc.

Beautiful views of Lake Tanganyika either at the restaurant or their private beach. They have zebras and monkeys wandering all over the property which is a treat to see. Limited set lunch and dinner menu and no alcohol served. If you’re looking for beautiful views and a quiet atmosphere, this place is perfect and quaint.

Always a good time at Kigoma Hiltop Hotel/resort

SWtaying at Kigoma Hiltop is always a pleasure. The rooms are nice and clean, and the restaurant is also really good with good service (maybe not the fastest, but who carres). WHen you are at Kigoma Hilltop you are supposed to take it easy and relax, and you can certainly do that without difficulties. If you have an issue, just tell Niel or Louise and they will fix it for you. This hotel would not be the same without them.
