Argyle Grand Hotel Nairobi Airport

10/10 Excellent

"This was my second stay at Argyle Grrand Hotel at Nairobi Airport. It is an excellent hotel. It is well maintained and kept spotless. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are THE BEST pillows I have ever had at any hotel. They have a subperb buffet with an incredible dessert table. Security and safety are excellent. Their airport shuttle runs when you need them. Staff caters politely to your every need. I come to Nairobi every year for a Christian Revival as a speaker. This is the only hotel I will stay at."

Serena Beach Resort and Spa

"I have stayed at the Serena several times over the past 20 years. In fact, of the 80 countries I have visited the Serena in Mombasa is still my favorite place in the world. The staff, including front dest staff (namely, Althuman) and the wait staff are outstanding. Many are long-term staff who have obviously been well-trained in customer service. The Maisha Spa is always worth a visit. The property is beginning to show signs of aging so I hope there are plans to upgrade it, while not loosing its Swahili Coast charm. I have been a fan for a long time and will be back again!"

Entumoto Safari Camp

10/10 Excellent

"We had an extraordinary experience at Entumoto Safari camp! The Conservancy in which its located proved a truly peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the adjacent Maasai Mara National Park, however, its water hole still brought Elephants, Zebras, Buffalos, Waterbucks, Zebras and several other animals right up to our camp (we watched them over our fantastic breakfast and lunches). Separately, our excellent guide Purity ensured that our two full day game drives in the Mara park itself lived up to their "once in a lifetime" billing, allowing us to see not only the 'Big 5', the 'Ugly 5', and the Wildebeest Migration, but also a number of more intimate encounters with wildlife just feet away from our excellent open top/sides Land Cruisers. We can't recommend this camp highly enough and certainly hope to return with additional family members: our group of 2+1 stayed in a 2 bedroom Family Tent, which could easily have also fit 2-3 additional family members (presumably via prior arrangement with camp mgmt)."
