Do not stay at this hotel. I reserved the hotel through Expedia and chose the pay at property option. When we arrived and checked in, the property and room looked nothing like the pictures online. The room was dingy, dirty and the bed was horrible. We checked out two minutes later. At that point the front desk staff was helpful, and assured me that I would be fully refunded because we weren’t satisfied with the room, which I greatly appreciated. I was told that the hold on my credit card would take 24-48 hours. Well, come to find out that not only do I still not have my money back almost a full week later (I was there June 28, and it’s now July 4), but they also put a hold on my card for $580 when it was supposed to be $480. I called the property again today after speaking with my bank and was asked to call back after 8:30am when the manager would be there, so I did. This time the woman who answered the phone was not helpful at all, and actually hung up on me. I called back and she refused to give me her name, and the manager is still not available. She basically just sat there on the phone without responding to me. Not only was the room unacceptable, but now they’ve had my money for a room I didn’t stay in for almost a week, charged me too much and are extremely rude about helping me get it figured out! She blamed my bank, she blamed Expedia (I called them and they opened an investigation with this property). If I could give negative stars I would!
