Breakfast was outstanding and Tina that worked Friday morning was outstanding and was nice enough to give me a few minutes over the 9am cut off. This would be a hotel that I will be returning too.. "This Candlewood Suites is a slept on gem in the Reading, PA area. Walking distance to a slew of diverse restaurants, breweries and grocery stores. Attentive staff who went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable with settling in for a few days. Free coffee, gym, laundry, fast wifi and free rental of games, books and other kitchen appliances; they’ve thought of everything. Would recommend it over the fancier hotels that I’ve stayed at before in the area. "

"Staff was very friendly, and we were checked in quickly and even a bit early. The room was a little oddly shaped but still comfortable. The bathroom showed some minor wear and tear, but nothing significant. The hotel’s location was convenient, with bars, restaurants, and other spots within easy walking distance."
