"The villa is not modern style, but enough clean. We arrived just after terrible cyclone, but the house and terrace were will cleaned. Due to the cyclone, our fight was delayed about 6 hours, but a host Marianna was waiting for us. She was so nice and kind. The private pool was just perfect. The point we love most was BBQ terrace and the view from there. The sun set was breathtaking . "Every staff person we encountered from check in, breakfast, to check out was lovely. This is a family run hotel and the care taken is evident. We were there at a quieter time and they have us a complementary upgrade. The room was fantastic, great views, it was pristinely clean and the bed was comfortable (a king size no less!) "We loved this place. The suite was huge and spotlessly clean. The pool was perfect and beautifully maintained as were the gardens with plenty of sun loungers and separate shady seating areas. We enjoyed watching the planes takeoff and land- we were worried about the close proximity to the airport but the property’s elevated position meant that noise was not a problem. Plus there was not a lengthy transfer to the airport to contend with- a huge bonus. You really do need a car if you stay here-...

"Stavros was very helpful in getting us an apartment upstairs for most of our stay which was lovely as the sea was in view from its balcony, and we did prefer it to the ground floor apartment. Stavros and his family couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming which helped to make it a special holiday. We liked Skala and the Main Street was nearby although the Alexander apartments themselves are in a quiet road near the edge of town. We hired a car and really enjoyed exploring the island as...
