"We didn't know anything about Thassos when we booked the ticket (in the last hour) but ended up having a fantastic week with our two kids (age 2 and 5). And Elenis hospitality and the great apartment at Pantheon was a big part of it. We hired a car for the entire week and drove around the island, swimming at multiple beaches. Safe public parking 5-10 min walk away for 10 Euros/night. We used it. Main issue: Very small reception on ground floor, under the stairs, but reception workers VERY helpful. Must walk up steps to rooms on 1st and 2nd floors. Tough if carrying heavy bags. Other issue: A few TV channels that work well, but many internet TV channels pause and buffer the signal at least once per minute. "
