"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). We had our own private patio and a back door that led right to the pool. The town and the people...

Lagon Life Spirit Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

10/10 Excellent

"Fabulous. Beautiful hotel, stunning views and the staff could not have been more helpful. They are a credit to the hotel."

Trianon Luxury Apartments & Suites

10/10 Excellent

"To begin with, the staff were incredible. Elana especially made our stay in these apartments. We visited reception one morning and she gave me loads of leaflets and explained all the different activities we could do during our stay. One of which was the bus to Elafonisi beach which was a coach that stopped off for breakfast and lunch to and from the beach. The journey was smooth and the beach was incredible we arrived earlier than expected so was able to pay for loungers and get some good photos. Elana also helped us book taxis from the hotel to the beach and so did the other staff. We were also able to then get them to book us one when returning. This made our trip less hassle. It’s located in a safe environment with little shops and cafes and bars nearby. It’s around a 15 minute walk into the old town so not too far. It’s a 5 ish minute walk to the sea though is a bit rocky and pebbly. The other nearby beaches by taxi ( 15/20 mins ) were beautiful though. House keeping were incredible though would be nice to maybe have some fresh robes as well. The bed was super comfy and very spacious. Would be nice for the TV to connect to our phones to watch our Tv but it wasn’t possible. There is a few areas of wear in the bathroom door and the balcony floor was a bit dirty. Other then that an amazing stay."

Oros Luxury Beach Resort

8/10 Good

"We had a deluxe villa with own pool. It was just a shame due to staying later in the season, we did not get the sun on our loungers and the pool was very cold. (Still tried it though!!) Suite was lovely, Breakfast was good, lots of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Resort is close to main road, which was a bit annoying if sitting out. Overall though, could not fault the resort. However, walked along the nearest beach, and was very disappointed with the amount of rubbish and plastic around. Shame our tourist tax isn't helping with that!!"

Anemos Luxury Grand Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Escape to beauty, stay for the memories. Anemos Luxury Grand Resort is a true haven of elegance and tranquility, where refined luxury meets the natural beauty of Crete. From its beautifully designed interiors and stylish architecture to its lush gardens, inviting pools, and breathtaking surroundings, every detail creates a fabulous and sophisticated ambiance. The resort combines modern comfort with warm Cretan hospitality, offering an atmosphere that feels both indulgent and wonderfully relaxing. Whether enjoying a leisurely afternoon by the pool, savoring exquisite cuisine, or simply taking in the serene views, Anemos Luxury Grand Resort delivers an unforgettable sense of luxury and escape. The abundance of fresh, colorful fruits adds a refreshing touch, with plenty of seasonal options to enjoy throughout the day. Every meal feels like a feast, combining quality, freshness, and variety in a setting that makes dining an unforgettable part of the stay."

Grecotel Plaza Beach House

10/10 Excellent

"We booked a room at the last minute. There will a little mix up upon arrival but the hotel upgraded us and bought us dinner to compensate us. Honestly, there was no need. The hotel was fabulous and the staff could not have been friendlier. The beach area was perfect and exactly what we wanted during our time in Greece. Rethymno is a lovely town and not nearly as busy as Chania, which made a huge difference. We would definitely go back to this hotel."

Ventale Island Breeze Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay at Vertali was made truly special by the outstanding customer service. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our vacation memorable. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt cared for and appreciated. A very special thank you to Kiki, whose kindness, professionalism, and positive energy stood out every single day. She consistently went above and beyond and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. I’d also like to recognize the incredible breakfast team. Their friendliness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Exceptional service is what transforms a great hotel into an unforgettable experience, and the team at Vertali did exactly that. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable. We will consider back again and create beautiful memories at Ventali."
