The hotel was clean with great service. The staff were amazing, respectful, and helpful. The owner, Pramod Sadaula, is a respectful gentleman and very helpful. It’s an excellent place to stay. The restaurants and food were very good. Everyone made my stay very memorable and enjoyable. I highly recommend Hotel Jay Suites.

Jay Suites is amazing place to stay in Kathmandu/Thamel area, very close to many historical attractions from the Hotel (Garden of Dreams, Dharbar square are walkable distance with in 10 minutes from Jay Suites) and for other prominent attractions I ended up using cab or pattao service. Hotel staff folks are super responsive and are able to help with my requests and suggestions to see places in and around Kathmandu..... Many thanks to Aanup (Host) he made me feel at home and helped me with sight seeing in and around Kathmandu as I had only 2 days in Kathmandu. I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed with your stay as the hotel Staff makes you feel at home....

The staff were attentive and extremely helpful. They helped with some of our transportation needs especially from the airport and back . The room was very spacious and clean . We were near some of the main attractions .

Great hospitality and location
The hotel owner showed great hospitality providing personalized tour, taxi pickup, and attention to details. Our trip has been deferred due to the weather, and our ad-hoc requests have all been catered. The hotel team gives all great ideas for local food and tour ideas. This hotel is highly recommended at this resonable price.

A pleasant stay in Kathmandu!
Everything was super nice, the room was clean, AA worked fine, no issue, and the service was good! Rajan (the desk guy) was super friendly and helpful. We recommend staying here if you want a pleasant stay in Kathmandu. The only negative point was maybe the lack of hot water but aside from that, all good! Also the location is perfect and near many places to eat at day or late night (we went walking to eat dinner at 3 am around Thamel area and felt safe). Strongly Recommended!

This hotel is in a good location in Thamel, Kathmandu close to bars, restaurants, shopping and temples. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are large, clean and have good amenities. The WIFI works well. Breakfast is good. We stayed here on several occasions for multiple nights and enjoyed our stays. Would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, staff, location in Thamel
Perfectly located within Thamel, which is where all the restaurants, shop vendors, and bars are located. However, it's down a side street, so it's really quite. You can walk anywhere, which is what you want in Kathmandu. This is the heart of the city. The rooms at Hotel Jay are spacious and clean and the bed is comfortable. Special shout-out to Rajan at Front Desk, who has made my time here really easy. He has given me suggestions on everything I have needed -- taxi fare expectations, restaurants, laundry, and tourist attractions. He speaks great English, which isn't always the case with most people you meet in Kathmandu. Highly recommend this hotel!

Staff was very helpful. English breakfast was good. A/C did not work and there was no ceiling fan, but thankfully it was not a hot time of year. Decent value for the low price.

Best hotel in KTM.. big rooms, very clean.. hotel staff are all amazing and very helpful..the friendliest hotel ive stayed at in nepal! Special thanks to Kishore the manager and the receptionist Sandesh.. many thanks will definitely stay here again.. Hotel is 1 min walking distance from everything and in a slightly quieter part of thamel so at least u get a good nights sleep.. good a/c and great hot showers..amazing place to stay

Perfect stay in Nepal!
We stayed at Hotel Jay Suites for 4 nights before we started our trek to Everest base camp. The staff was always very friendly and accommodating to anything we might have needed. The entire hotel was very clean compared to other places we saw in the area. One morning there were 2 women scrubbing the lobby floor on their hands and knees. And the beds were very comfortable! We also liked the area in which the hotel with in. We felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely room with birdsong
Wonderful. The hotel is nestled in a quiet lane and there is no street noise at all. The staff here are incredibly friendly and extremely thoughtful. The internet is good and was able to get a lot of work done. The whole hotel is lovely and I will stay here again next time in Kathmandu.
