I stayed at Hotel Buddha for 2 weeks whilst visiting my wife in Nepal who was on a medical placement. I was collected from the airport as arranged and arrived late evening. From the start I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the hotel overall. All the staff from reception staff to waiters and security staff have been so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and linen provided as well as 2 litres of water meaning I never had to buy water the whole time I was in the city.
My stay included breakfast of which there was ample choice each morning, cooked breakfast as well as toast, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt as well as tea/coffee and juice. Also a chef who cooked omelettes to order which were delicious. Obviously despite switching some foods, after a few days it does become somewhat repetitive. Food on the lunch/dinner menu was fantastic, and reasonably priced. I had food delivered to my room twice with no extra charge.
The room was very comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities, TV, air conditioning doubling as a heater which was used! The bathroom was also spacious with a decent shower and always had hot water. The sockets in my room were the same as the UK so no need for an adaptor. The hotel were also very accommodating allowing my wife to stay with me for a small charge but after a few nights this was wavered.
Hotel Buddha also has a stunning garden where all meals are served.
