The room was really nice and clean with an amazing view of the surroundings. The food was 10/10 with a selection of both local and international options. J'avais résérvé une chambre mais a mon arrivée il n'y en avait pas alors on m'a proposé le dortoir au meme tarif se que j'ai refusé et aprés discussion j'ai obtenu une tente-chambre. Trés bien dans la grosse savane mais prés de la grande route pas nécessaire du tout. Personnel serviable mais on sans que l'argent et le but premier du centre. "

"First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine....

"We used the hotels as a base for a safari tour and it was an ideal base. The location is great, being a short walk (1500m) out of Tissa. Lake Wind Resort is a beautiful heritage building that has had life injected again by new management. The team could not have been more helpful and attentive. "A special place close to Yala that makes you feel like you’re in the park. Small staff was so friendly and lovely, and I felt well taken care of. Delicious meals—often candlelit and with an outdoor grill. Room was air conditioned and well appointed, despite the jungle setting. Only caution: there probably will be some wildlife in your bathroom! They also organized my safaris in the park, as well as pick ups and drop-offs, which I appreciated."
