"This is our sixth stay at katathani over 10 years. We have seen the resort change and improve over the years but the basic characteristics are the same: a very large resort along a beach which is almost predominantly used by hotel guests with a number of small restaurants and shops on the outside of the resort and 5 or six within the resort. We came originally as a couple and now we have three children and it is still brilliant. "

"The breakfast was great and room fairly comfterble. My only complaint was the bed was very hard but not a deal breaker. The staff was always super polite and on point. Would stay here again. Was not able to swim due to very rough sea state and red flag warning so if you want to swim in the ocean be sure to check the seasons for calm seas. Pool was very nice and connnected to a bar which was fun and awesome. "

"We stayed in a room with pool access. Best decision we made. After spending the day out in the humid weather it was a blessing to step out of the room and straight into the pool. Breakfast every morning was filling and selection of foods to eat was massive and varied and the staff in the dining room were friendly and seemed to know who we were the first morning there. Domestic staff, who you see everyday, were wonderful and seemed happy to help when needed outside of just cleaning rooms. We will...
