The area around it is quite and beautiful being right on the water! The walk to town isn’t too bad but there are dining options and a few stores nearby too. "An absolutely beautiful, very new and modern apartment. Perfectly clean and well furnished. Definitely recommend. The main problem was the distance to the centre. It was a fast, 20 minute walk. For a slow walker it would take longer. Could walk down but get a taxi back up. "

"We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable....

"As the booking was made we had a very good instinct that this was the right property. From viewing the pictures we were not expecting the Kitchenette, we were able to eat cooked breakfasts and dinners on the balconies and made our trips easier and lighter to focus on activities. "We just got home from Kefalonia and a great week staying at Oskars! Our studio apartment was lovely and comfortable with a great view. The family were very friendly and welcoming, and the three brothers Makis, Costas and Yiannis went out of their way to make our stay comfortable - thanks guys! The location is shown as within a block of the waterfront but the property is about 4 block away (the end of the town). Although it is only a short walk to the waterfront, the location as shown is misleading. Also, the fridge in our apartment (we stayed in Joy) would freeze everything, even though the temperature was on the warmest setting. We were asked to turn the fridge off and on to reset it...

"We only stayed one night as we had to change our initial arrangements. Reception arranged taxi pickup from airport (30eu). Ok, a bit expensive for a short ride but enabled us to travel hassle free and get to know the route for next day when we picked up a hire car. Lovely surprise to have an upgrade for room. Excellent facilities and wide balcony overlooking harbour. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was amazing. Wide selection of fruit, pastries, cereals, cheese etc plus omelettes made to order. Good coffee. Easy walk to bus stop for airport. This is also where the ferry goes across to Lixouri about every 30 mins. Watched lorries, cars and vans backing into it. A bit scary. We drove instead.. highly recommend staying in this boutique hotel "
