This is in a remote location (as described) exactly what we wanted. The grounds were filled with kangaroos and koalas! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cabin was so cute and very clean. Loved our stay!

The two bedrooms cabin is nearly brand new. We can see the Kangaroos and wallabies just right in front of cabin. It is very close to the Flinders Chase National Park, and other must-see sights in the Kangaroo Island. We can buy fresh food and hot pies in the receptions. Highly recommended.

A clean well run park. Cabins are new and well setup. Lovely grounds to walk through with plenty of wildlife. Convenient for exploring the west end. Good luck with the continued post bushfire recovery.

The cabin was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It is clear that the park....like the rest of K.I. is still recovering from Covid and the devastating bush fires.

Proprietors were nice and helpful. Just using water to brush my teeth sickened my stomach the entire next day. No eating choices except for a TV dinner at check-in. Bed was semi-comfortable.

Very quiet tranquil place. Not much around so suggest to take groceries otherwise I could stay there for days just relaxing watching wallabys feeding.

Cabins need a refresh. Old appliances, noisy air con and lack of cooking utensils. Position was excellent and outlook. Kangaroos and koalas in park.

Everything is new, due to the terrible 2020 bush fires, they're doing their very best. The shop is excellent owing to nothing else being available near by, they provide an excellent service for the Flinders Chase district.

Cabins were clean and tidy. Could have done with some microwave containers 😬 Good laundry facilities. Park was very quiet mid May when we stayed. Great proximity to Flinders Chase National Park. Definitely recommend and would happily stay again.

Great place to stay near flinders chase
We stayed here all but one of our five night stay in KI. While we drove to some destinations north or west of the property, it was lovely to sit on the porch at twilight and watch kangaroos, wallabies and pink parrots gather. There were quite a few koalas in nearby trees as well. Highly recommend.

It was great stay. The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and had everything needed for cooking. Our expectations to see the wild life were completely exceeded… it was amazing, at dusk, right by our cabin we saw many kangaroos and even found Koalas in the trees.

Insane amount of wildlife here!
We stayed in one of the cabins and it was comfortable enough. We ran into an ugly spider in the morning, but I suppose that's to be expected in Australia! The wildlife here was unreal! We saw kangaroos and hundreds of pink cockatoos pooling together in front of the porch. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and the air conditioner worked. The parking was free, and the site itself was clean. My only complaints would be that the bedroom doesn't cool off well with the air conditioner in the living room, there wasn't a top sheet on the bed, and the towels were super stiff.

Do not expect luxury 5-star accommodations, but given its remote location on the island, next to a national park, this is probably the best place to stay if you want to explore the western part of KI. The lack of light pollution allowed us to take some really awesome photos of the milky way. Would highly recommend to those who enjoy being close to the wilderness yet prefer a cabin to a tent.

A welcome surprise
A welcome surprise. Lovely 1 bedroom cabin in the caravan park with all you need to self cater. The cabin had a bathroom, living/dining area, kitchen, tv and wifi. Perfect for two people. The adjoining nature trail allowed us to spot kangaroos and koalas. Very enjoyable.

Western end of KI,close to flinders chase and Hanson bay. Loved the property, peaceful with wild life around to enjoy. Quiet, usually a cool breeze. The owner was cheerful and helpful. The cabin was clean and comfortable, everything you need for a stay. Would come back again and recommend property to others.
