"We recently had an excellent stay at Captain Hook Resort. Nestled in a secluded spot away from other hotels, it offers a peaceful, green, and idyllic atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The staff is incredibly attentive, and the management is always on hand to ensure guests are well taken care of. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and highly recommended!"

"The staff were really nice and helpful. The only thing I had an issue with was the extra charges. For instance, there is a charge for ice and food to take away. If you break a glass 200 thb. Also the kayaks were at a cost ok no problem (even though I read they were free) but the paddleboards were expensive and they were in a pretty bad state…actually good for the bin as they were missing chunks and really not safe for use. "Das Personal war unfassbar freundlich, vorallem zu Kindern. Es gab den ganzen Tag Wasser, Tee, Kaffee, Saft, Toast und Eis. Es gab ein paar Restaurants in der Nähe, zu den anderen guten musste man so gute 20 Minuten laufen. Alles in allem, ein toller Aufenthalt!"

"This property is a couples paradise if your looking for a quiet vacation. Staff is exceptional and every bungalow is positioned for privacy. Great place for rest and relaxation and if you never want to leave the resort, you wont need to. My girl friend and i rented a scooter(moped) from Shantaa and explored the whole island. We only used 1 tank of gas the entire time."

"I got pretty banged up in a scooter crash while I was there (entirety my fault), and the two girls who run it went out of their way to take care of me. They even brought my wallet and passport to the hospital. I'd definitely stay there again."

"What an amazing place. It’s the furthest resort but it’s worth the extra 15/20 mins car journey. It’s a small hotel so you are looked after very well by the staff who are always on hand. Children are welcome too. The food was amazing. Every night we had something different and all was great tasty food. Price for a curry and rice is around £6 so not pricey at all as some other reviews say. There is also a local restaurant behind the hotel that serve local food too at half the price of the hotel...
