I had two rooms reserved for one night and when we got there the whole place was shut down fenced in the doors were bolted shut and they were doing a renovation but they charge me for the two rooms

Bruce's stay at RLI Liberty, MO
Very comfortable, clean room with excellent WiFi, TV, and Keurig coffee maker. Broken front door entrance was a small nuisance, but unavailable breakfast was a disappointment. Excellent location with several restaurants within easy walking distance.

The staff member who checked us in was great, and the lobby clean and smelled amazing. However, the toilet did not flush. Especially disappointing was that we reserved it because of the continental breakfast, the lobby was set up for it- but there was no breakfast. It had great potential, but overall disappointing.

I think breakfast was supposed to be from 6am to 8 or 9am. At 7:45am there was no breakfast or coffee. The gentleman at the front desk was asleep on the couch behind the desk. Probably should have woken him, but decided he must be tired. Room was clean and nice.

I am a medical field travler, traveling from Texas to Minnesota. I stopped in Liberty Missouri for a night to sleep less that 24hrs. 130 for a cheap dirty hotel. The first room I was given had something taped off. The second room had somebody boxers and socks left. So you can tell the room was not cleaned. Second time booking through Expedia! Never again!

No handicapped accessible rooms. Strong incense scent in the lobby. Room smelled like smoke, even though it's a non-smoking facility. Had only one thing for a hot breakfast - a pancake machine - and it wasn't working. One of the worst places we've ever stayed.

Horrible place and hateful owners.
Checked in at 3pm on Friday cleaned up left and went to the wedding rehearsal that i traveled 5 hours to go to, returned to the hotel couldn't get in my room so go to front desk they tell me they checked me into the wrong room and removed my luggage till i returned back, long story short my luggage including my tuxedo for the wedding was put in a mop closet and covered in cleaning soap they refused to help get it dry cleaned and said accidnts happen no refund no comp for dry cleaning they were very racist saying to me that white people always try playing tricks and they are tired of them. Horrible people Horrible experience beware when staying.

Bed was very uncomfortable, Air conditioner was very loud. The floor was uneven in the room. The room itself was clean and neat but for almost $200 a night I wouldn’t stay there again.

The people were always looking at you in the parking lot , the framing to one of the doors was coming off, toilet was kinda crappy would clog or just not flush a lot. Room was clean and nice but just the experience was a little disappointing. The employee that cooks the breakfast in the mornings is a really good guy always met my needs when I asked for small inconveniences, he had no problem helping.

It took nearly 15 minutes for anyone to meet us at the front desk,- we arrived 15 minutes after check out Time 3:15 PM, and when they did, they were very unfriendly. Cleaning staff started going up and down the hallway on a Sunday morning at 8:30 AM knocking on doors and playing loud music in the hallway -we replied to them that our check out was it 11 and we would be leaving then they continue to come back to the door every half an hour and finally the last two times didn’t even knock just open the door and walked in. The property is not well kept, the covers are still on the lamp shades which clearly say, removed before using, etc. I would only stay here again if it were the very last hotel room available, and I absolutely positively had to stay in this area.

Good for an overnight stay.
Breakfast was supposed to be served between 6 am and 9 am; however, when we got downstairs for breakfast, there was none. When I ask the desk clerk, his answer was he overslept. Hotel needs to be updated. Four people in the room and only three bath towels.

The rooms were newly decorated. Super nice. Front desk person was a lil quiet but didn't speak english well. We enjoyed our stay and a nice breakfast before we left.

I didn’t like the fact they charged full price if I’ve been a walk in, I would’ve turned around. It was under construction and the incense was so strong. I could taste it in my mouth, but I have stayed in a lot of motels and understand construction bathroom was filthy, mold in the shower and toilet

I made my reservation. thru Hotels.com. When I got to the Red Lion Inn, I was told my reservation had been cancelled, and no other rooms were available. Thgius has become very upsetting because there were no other rooms within 50 miles of Kansas City. Someone is responsible for this screw-up, and I would like to know who.

Property was the equivalent of a half way house, very poor continental breakfast. Room was too poorly lit, room service was too pushy, bathroom was poorly lit. Shower leaked all over the floor. Fell in the shiwer whilst getting ready, had to go to Lowes next door & bjy a shower mat so I didn't fall again snd break my leg or arm. Too many noisy tennants, a lot if smokers which was gross, on site gym was a joke. Definitely never staying there again

Me and my family were displaced by a fire. We have fur babies and needed a place for all of us. Red Lion was advertised as pet friendly. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. We checked in, brought in our pets, left to run errands, received a call and were told no pets allowed. We said we would find other accommodations, asked about a refund, and were then told we broke hotel policy by bringing in pets and there would be no refund.

It was dirty. There was black mold in the shower and on the bathroom floor which made me think the rest of the unit was probably dirty too. My room had a huge moth in it that was pretty nasty too.

The Red Lion Inn & Suites is a clean, decent property that I would stay in again if I am in the K. C. area again. Although I did not need an elevator/lift, it is worth noting that there is not one available should you need one.

Property was pretty dirty, paint missing on walls and doors. Daylight showing through our door in our room. There was a penny in our bathroom on the floor as well as hair. Smelled stale and old. The bed was on a metal platform that sounds like your laying on a furnace vent every time you move. The only nice thing to say was the bight office guy was very nice.

Checkout is posted in numerous locations and it says 11:00 AM checkout. This past weekend I was woken at 10:00AM by a loud knocking on the door and I replied what do you want….they replied checkout….I said checkout isn’t till 11:00 ….they said okay and then they knocked on my door at 10:50. I immediately opened the door and said my checkout is 11:00 and I closed the door. This is the third time that I have stayed at this place that I have been woken up before my checkout time. I stay at a lot of Quality Inn locations.
