"Room wasn’t cleaned in 4 days, no staff at reception, no milk tea coffee replaced, bar never open restaurant not open. BUT great location, nice kitchen to use. Couldn’t get hob to turn on in kitchen. For the money could be better."

"Disappointing. While the hotel is in the process of being extended and refurbished, that did not include the room we stayed in which although spacious and clean was in need of an update. The hanging space and vanity were tiny, especially for such a large room. Eating out options at American River for dinner are extremely limited. Dinner at the hotel was expensive and service not to standard. While the staff were unfailingly polite, helpful and doing their best they were under resourced for...

"What a wonderful place!! So quiet, peaceful and comfortable! Our hosts were lovely and provided breakfast items and plenty of tea and coffee. The comfortable bed gave us good rest for our long days of sightseeing. The WiFi was extremely slow but we were able to bring up maps. It was good to be so close to Penneshaw and groceries and the ferry. Thank you for a memorable holiday experience! We highly recommend The Fig Tree BnB!"

The property was extremely dirty, every piece of kitchenware, cutlery, and glassware had to be washed before use. We tried contacting the property the day before our arrival to ask about food options but never received a call back. Additionally, the air conditioning didn’t work during our stay. La réception a des horaires limités mais suffisamment large pour accueillir ceux qui arriveraient de Kangaroo island par les derniers ferrys"
