Second time staying here but this time we stayed in a lagoon view room and loved it even more. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Very friendly staff especially our friend Marisa in the restaurant. Good value for money, will be back!

Great place to stay for a few nights. Pool very nice. Staff were great. Food brilliant. Only slight issue is TV didn't work. The guy who came to look just said sorry but it's equipment failure. Not big deal but it should work in a room advertised with a TV. 15 mins walk to the bridge over river kwai. 1 min walk to bars but quiet at nightfailurnegative wasdi

We really enjoyed our 4 nights at this hotel. The first two nights we stayed in the river view room and it was gorgeous. There happened to be entertainment one of the nights which we watched from our huge terrace. We ate in the restaurant several times because the food was great, the price were very reasonable and the atmosphere right on the river with the fairy lights and river cruisers was lovely. Also the staff were super helpful answering my questions before we arrived. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely large rooms. Nice swimming beach. The golf cart rental for our group of six was just perfect for exploring the island. Could use a few more lounge chairs at pool and beach if I’m being picky.

The property felt very exclusive though it is located near shops and restaurants. The staff were remarkably attentive and the access from the AMAZINGLY charming rooms to the resturant/bar and pools was perfect. We had a fantastic room facing the river, with two of our own personal 'porches' one facing the river and another facing a pond. We also booked a tour through Good Times to visit Erawan, Hell Pass, etc. It left from the hotel and was also OUTSTANDING!! If we are ever back in Kanchanaburi we definitely plan to stay at Good Times again! Thank you

Good times resort was perfect for my 3 days in Kanchanaburi. Quiet and lovely with the pool, big rooms with amazing air conditioning. Breakfast was nice with variety and a lovely setting. Staff very helpful. I am a solo traveller and it was a perfect hotel and I would definitely stay there again. Close to most things to walk or bike.

If you’re coming to Kanchanaburi I highly reccomend this hotel. The breakfast is included and has a big variation. The staff are the nicest, so helpfull. We had some problem with booking tickets to Chiang Mai and they helped us but also the moment you arrive will take your lugagge. I don’t usually leave review but I had for this hotel. Bathroom is very clean, pool area is clean and restaurant also amazing. All with all a 5 star for them.

Our stay at The Good Times Resort was excellent. The location is great, 1km from the Train Station, and around 1km from the River Kwai Bridge. Both easily walkable, althout Thai pavements never the best. 30bhat Taxi ride if you don't like walking. Staff were all friendly and spoke good english. Room was clean and spacious and well equipped. Bottled water and coffee/tea replaced every day. Breakfast a highlight, a buffet with a good selection with a view of the River Kwai. You are right by the River. Whilst I also recommend you try the local resturants outside, make sure you do take at least one evening meal in the hotel resturant. Evening view and atmosphere in the hotel resturant at night is fantastic. Plus prices very reasonable, food excellent and service good. Highly recommend The Good Times Resort.

Good time resort was great. Big size room with balcony with great views. The 2 swimming pools were the best added amenities. Perfectly situated in the heart of Kanchanaburi. The best and most surprise thing was the incredible free breakfast by the river.

Very Nice Hotel Experience
Good Times is a very nice hotel/resort. The room was nice and clean and the breakfast included in the price was very good and good choice. Minor things include some cleaning of some doors (especially in bathroom on inside) and shower is very close to shelf - not sure why they put it so close. Also, could use some places (hooks) to hang things on the wall like jacket and provide extra small table especially in the larger rooms. I note these just to make things better. I would give 9 out of 10.

There were some minor issues such as the condiments like tea and coffee not being replaced on a daily basis. Also, the TV was so complicated we never used it. But overall it’s very nice and we would return if in the area.

We recently stayed at the Good Times Resort. It is set by the river and has lovely views. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very hard, but that is a personal thing. However the staff sorted out a topper for me which solved the problem. On a picky note the TV could have had an English channel. Breakfast had a great selection , with a choice of Thai and western food. As always the hot food could have been hotter but the eggs were cooked to choice. The reception staff were friendly and always ready to help.

Fantastic stay
We stayed for 3 nights in total and had an amazing time. All staff were really friendly and helpful. We used the restaurant in the evening so we could sit by the river and watch the boats go by in an idyllic setting. Would definitely recommend

Good Times Resort is nestled in a quiet spot just minutes from the main street and walking distance to the Bridge over the River Kwai. Lots of markets, cafes, restaurants and other city sights in the are. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be had right at the river's edge. Staff are lovely and accommodating. Food is excellent and reasonable. My "go to" place in Kanchanburi

Hotel is on river bank and is excellent. Staff are friendly and polite. Food was very good. Room was clean and comfortable with a comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom was ok. Hotel is very close to bars and restaurants and railway station.

Great little hotel!
Really lovely, helpful staff at this hotel. We arrived early to ask if we could leave luggage there until later when we checked in but the receptionist was more than happy to see if our room was ready, which it was. The restaurant is in a great location on the waterside. The food was delicious and well priced. Reception staff were also great at helping us negotiate our way around the area and organised taxis etc for us. This has been one of the nicest small hotels we've stayed in for a while, and I can thoroughly recommend a stay here!

Great little spot on the river
The staff here were fantastic , the pool was nice enough , the room was cute but beds are really hard . The restaurant is along the river & it was stunning . The food was good . Kanchanaburi is such a cute spot with lots of little bars & restaurants . We only spent 2 days here but we wished we had more ! We took the public bus right to Erawan falls & it was a great day !!
