"Spacious rooms, excellent location and functionality.. Nothing spectacular, but everything avaliable and walking distance for everything. Grab to everywhere is less than 10 minutes. Highly recommended if you want to be in Georgetown "
"Gorgeous hotel and beautiful room for a very good price. Prob the best hotel on our Malaysian travels. Amazing rooftop swimming pool (with crazy see through bottom) and rooftop bar with stunning views. Downside was no breakfast available at hotel but they offered a free morning bus service into town and suggested food places for breakfast. 5 stars and would definitely recommend xx"
"Extremely glad that we chose this hotel on this trip to Penang. Room was very nice clean and with lovely sea view. All the staff especially at the club were extremely nice, warm, helpful and very friendly thus made our stay welcoming.
There is one staff in particular that stands out is Mr Samson from the club lounge. Thank you.
Breakfast and cocktail food and drinks were very good clean and very well presented. "
"Bathroom contained mould on many fixtures and fittings. The first room we were shown smelled of mould. The second room wasnt any better but they changed the shower curtain.
The towels started smelling as soon as water touched them. I had to ask them to be changed.
There was no hand towel.
The bed sheets had holes in it.
The shower over the bath was not working properly. I think to call it a shower is exaggerating the definition.
Suffice to say will NOT be booking a stay at Bayview hotel Georgetown again.

"We have stayed at the E and O three times over the past 20 years. I love this hotel! Its old colonial flavour sits well with me. The new part is lovely too but this time we stayed in the Heritage wing which will always be my favourite. Our room 010 which had a separate lounge and twin bedded room, opened up to the grass area a few steps from that gorgeous pool. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was amazing. This hotel is full of old world charm. Always will be highly recommended. Hope to keep returning as the years progress. "
