They have extremely friendly host who helped out on our first trip to Penang by introducing us the area around, which saved us the time to figure out what to look out for(eg. stall operating hours, traveling time, mode of transport etc). "Situated on Gurney Drive with view of the ocean and where dining and shopping options are plentiful. Hotel offers free shuttle to shopping mall. No beach so ocean swimming is not an option. The hotel does have an infinity pool. Sago, the hotel restaurant, serves a variety of food including Australian/English, Malay, Chinese, Indian with limited Japanese selections in a buffet style. Did not try the other restaurants on site. Room is very comfortable and amenities are on par with the luxurious Marriott standard. Hotel staff very friendly and available to help with transportation and other information. English is widely spoken by all the staff. Would definitely return for another stay."
