We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. "

"Clean and modern, Kampot is so small almost anywhere is convenient. My only warning is a lack of power outlets near the desk. After changing rooms and providing an extension cord this was easily solved, but initially I was told to string a cord across the first room (right across the entrance), which would have also eliminated the solo outlet for the refrigerator.
