"Clean and modern, Kampot is so small almost anywhere is convenient. My only warning is a lack of power outlets near the desk. After changing rooms and providing an extension cord this was easily solved, but initially I was told to string a cord across the first room (right across the entrance), which would have also eliminated the solo outlet for the refrigerator. "The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. "

"Clean,quiet and safe area. Good restaurant with reasonable price. Walkable to main Street, Kep market and ferries port where you can go to many islands like Rabbit island extra. I wish the residents around the areas help keep the streets clean and don't let their cows or dogs poop on the streets. "

"+: Very central location. Huge room with big views. Good value. All the staff is great, from the manager to receptionists to cleaners; very welcoming, smiling, kind. Linen / towels have a hint of chemical smell, had to buy my own towel because couldn't stand it. Not sure if it's the washing products, fabric softener or something the cleaners spray. There's dogs barking all night in one side of the building, had to change room and then it was all good Aircon was smelly. Needs to be cleaned more...

"The place was absolutely beautiful. Clean and classy....the family who ran the place were amazing as well. You are literally blocks from the beach, the market, the food stores.....pretty much anything you can do and want to do is walkable."
