Great big rooms; very comfortable.
If you like space, you'll love these big rooms! We were picking up supplies for our village school and the staff were fantastic. They went out of their way to assist us. Even storing some small furniture and boxes for us until our truck arrived. They were really great.

No hot water in the mornings
No hot water on both mornings. I advised staff after the first night but still no change. Disappointing. Also, pillows are uncomfortable. Bed is good though, room is clean, service is okay.

I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a decent 3-star experience, but was left disappointed. The rooms were dated with worn-out furniture and the linens had seen better days. The cleanliness was below par, and I spotted dirt in more than a few places. Moreover, the Wi-Fi connection was patchy, making it tough for me to get work done during my stay. Breakfast was mediocre at best, with limited choices and not much variation from day to day. Overall, I would say this hotel feels more like a 2-star establishment. Would think twice before booking again.

Clean and comfortable
Very clean. Nice spacious apartments. A/C is only in one bedroom so rest of apartment was quite warm. Needs AC in living area. Pillows are very high. Other than that the apartment was excellent. The sofa is so comfortable and spacious. Plenty of cupboard space. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Large family stay
Stayed in two rooms. Rooms were nice and spacious, bar and restaurant provided good service. We are a family of 8, but they only provided 2 towels per room, and even when asked for more towels/shampoo/bath wash, none were provided. Advertised that a gym was available, but the reception will give you a voucher to go a country club several miles away. Good or bad depending on how you look at it. Beyond that, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and my sleep was sound.

I booked this property based on reviews. At check-in there was an unexplained delay, I could tell something was not right. After about 10 mins the girl comes and tells me that the Manager says the Expedia rate offered is not valid. I asked them to properly communicate this with Expedia and leave me out of it. It was very upsetting!!!

Excellent property, great service. I always stay there when I am bringing a tour group to Uganda. However, internet service is almost nonexistent in the apartments which means you have to go down to the lobby area. Other than that, I highly recommend the facility.

Ok place for the price but a little caution.
The staff and management were all nice to me. They let me stay 7 hours past check out for $40. They have a small kitchen, the food was ok. There is an elevator, it's a gated place with security. There is access to swimming pool and gym through a sister hotel that is ten minutes drive away. There is AC, and kitchen in the room. I didn't watch TV so I can't say. There is a safe but to small for my laptop. Complaints, I have two: I killed two cockroaches in the single day I was there, and there is a club access the street that goes until 4am in the weekends. And if course there is the singing Muslims that blast away in their loud speakers at 530am. I found it a little hard to sleep well

One night stay with family
Stay was nice. Service was good, Food and drinks at hotel restaurant were very good. Only issue was we are a family of four, and inside the room there was only ONE towel. When housekeeping staff was asked for more towels, we were initially told no, they had to get permission to give us a towel for each member of our family. Location of hotel is also good, only a few minutes from Acacia Mall and many restaurants and shopping.

Great hotel and restaurant, the rooms are huge! Don't expect to use the kitchen utensils though. One highlight is that hotel guests have free access to the country club =)

The apartments were as appeared on the website. We stayed in the B block.The staff were very helpful and friendly most especially front desk staff. The rooms were clean on arrival and cleaned everyday by housekeeping. Down fall during our stay was there were cockroaches in the kitchen as well sewage stench to our room. The water in toilet bowl smelt like poo and was brown after flashing. They tried to fix this issue on a number of times but the problem didnt go away. Although parts our experience were not as expected, i would recommend to friends and leave here again.

Nice hotel close to centre of Kampala
My only critisism is we had checked prior to booking if we could bring guests in and were told yes but when we were there we were advised they had to wait downstairs. Other than that it was beautiful and the staff were wonderful.

Not great but not bad. I'll be back.
TV channels are about 10: BBC, two soccor, four Bollywood, one Hollywood.. they need more Hollywood. The safe is small, to small for a laptop. No swimming pool or gym but they have a pass to a nice facility at a nearby health club. It's hard for them to make change for larger bills. Cleaning girls need daily reminding to leave soap and bottled water. Managers are all Indian no Africans. Everyone is polite and ready to assist you with you're needs. The price is reasonable and the location is not far from the best mall in Uganda. Easy to get a Boda. Rooms are two queen beds one bath one kitchen and spacious. Elevator works.

Nice but....
The room large but infested with Cockroaches. I sprayed and killed about fifty. The internet was so slow that it was almost no good. The safe was small. The room spacious and kept. The beds nice. The fourth floor was high because the elevator was broken. The managment was nice to deal with.

Very modern apartment
Great apartment - everything looked brand new and really modern. There was an insect infestation in the apartment kitchen, though, which was really offputting. We didn't want to cook in there after seeing bugs and roaches! The free use of the Country Club nearby was fantastic, we went there both days. A great place to relax.

Huge bedrooms and very quiet.
Isaac at the front desk was very helpful. However the amount of pots and pans in the kitchen is very limited as well as no can opener. I have stayed in other "hotels" with kitchenette's and they were much more stocked than Bukoto's. After the second night I decided it was more of a hassle to try to cook than to go out. I would stay here again but only if I could bring in my own utensils, etc.

Very helpful and nice staff. They cleaned every day. Make sure to get an apartment in block b. There is so much noice from a church and the road in block a. The swimming pool is about 10 minutes walk away on kabira club. We also had access to munyono resort. A veeeery nice place to relax.
