"Spent two nights at this property. We showed up late in the night, but they had an easy self-check in process. Room was simple and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and warm. Breakfast had the essentials (coffee, tea, breads, spreads, eggs, meats, cheeses). Location was good for visiting Black Diamond Beach and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. There weren't many dinner options around, so make sure to plan that in advance. Area was also dark enough to catch some northern lights. The shower...

"We enjoyed our stay very much! The host Thora is extremely nice and accommodating. Check in was easy, Thora met us and provided all necessary information. The bed was so comfortable and the room was very clean. Although there are shared bathrooms they were very clean and there is a sink in the room. She made an amazing breakfast with homemade jams. The property is beautiful. "

"Cute little apartment. Close to food. Offered some yummy oatmeal chocolate cookies. Middle of the night the drain pipe fell off the bathroom sink. Looked quite plugged (yuck). Only sink so was interesting getting ready the next morning. Tried to call office twice with no answer."

"It had a bed, a private bathroom with shower, a shared kitchen and WiFi. Basically a very small bedroom in a three bedroom house. Nice owner. BUT… No TV. No window screens - lots of tiny biting insects. Seemed to collect solar heat. No AC. That’s it."
