"Absolutely gorgeous place, super close to Nara park. After hiking to Mount Wakakusa my wife and I enjoyed the private hot springs. It was surreal enjoying the hot water while listening to the rain in the rock garden area. We would definitely come back if we find ourselves in Nara. "

"A simple and dependable business hotel. The staff were very friendly and even let me check in a bit early, which I appreciated. The room was clean, though the air felt a little stale when I first arrived. Breakfast is straightforward and gets the job done, and the small public baths were a nice way to relax. The location is very convenient, with plenty of dining options and useful shops close by. Overall, a clean, friendly, and reliable place for a short stay."

"The staff are fabulous, very attentive and customer focused. We had an outdoor private bath which was wonderful and highly recommended. Our one complaint is the beds (futon) they were very thin and hard. We did not sleep well. "

"This hotel was really nice. The ease of access made it wonderful. On the 4th floor there are vending machines, his & her onsen's (no tattoos allowed), a 7-11 convenience store, a laundry (pay per wash & dry, usually busy in the evenings), & a cool vacuum sealing machine to help make packing your suitcase easier (300 yen per pack). The rooftop view is unmatched. Theres a pool and hot tub up there with a 40th floor view of Osaka which is incredible in the day, at sunset, & at night, & there is no charge, access is included with the room. There are a few restaurants, not really any vegan/vegetarian options but the 7-11 does have some. The hotel is clean, the rooms are lovely with space under the bed for your suitcases. Windows only open a crack for ventilation but the view from the roof makes up for that. Cleaning is by request only but they leave you fresh towels, robes, and amenities in a bag at your door every day and you just put your old ones in the bag and hang it outside your room for pickup. There are signs in english all over the room that have valuable information relevant to your stay. The tv home screen has an informative video that also has many informative tips relevant to your stay. I recommend you read the signs, watch the video, & familiarize yourself with everything when you arrive. Some signs are in Japanese, use the google translator app, its a huge help. The staff was helpful & friendly and check-in and out is super fast and easy! Lovely hotel!"
"Great location within walking distance to the park and the castle. It is also very close to metro and JR station making it very accessible. There are several restaurants in hotel as well. "
"This hotel is probably a victim of it's own success. It's a great hotel but because it's so busy, sometimes it takes forever to catch an elevator during "rush hour". We've had to wait for several elevators because the incoming elevator was packed, and the stairs were locked so we couldn't even take the stairs.
I would do 4.5 stars if I could. But being popular isn't the hotel's fault (maybe having a third elevator could make it perfect.)"
"The room was very nice, clean and larger than the other rooms I’ve stayed in when travelling Japan. Located fairly close to a subway station. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was also solid. "
