Room was clean and had a nice view of the courtyard. The hotel is on the waterfront and has great views form the front parlour/reception and bar. Good wines at reasonable prices. John the host is informative, friendly and obliging. Room is cozy ie a bit small. A "squash and a squeeze" but itcall worked. The coffee pod worked well. Bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Great location in Kaikoura

Great stay in a room with a balcony overlooking the bay. We saw 2 great sunrises and enjoyed 2 evenings on the balcony. The bed was comfortable and the room quite large. The bathroom was spacious, as was the shower.

A very pleasant stay, great location, very helpful staff. Got a great recommendation on where to have dinner, Donegal House. I generally don’t enjoy tourist towns but Kaikoura is an exception. When you book a room, check out its dimensions.
