We found the front unit roomy and very comfortable. Double curbless shower is fantastic. All amenities we could need are included. Quiet, convenient, on site parking. Four-star accommodation.

A fabulous B&B
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful B&B. The room was very spacious, and tastefully decorated. A nice breakfast was provided in the morning. Would stay again if ever back in the area.Fabulous

Great friendly vibe
I found the host really friendly and she made us feel very comfortable. She even offered to take us to the train station. Great new bathroom and decent sized room. Breakfast was nice but no option of anything cooked . Overall I thought it was a bit pricey.

This was a wonderful home away from home, only sad that we didn’t get to stay longer. We felt very welcome. The rooms themselves are beautiful with very comfortable beds, beautiful decor and honestly I think the best shower I have ever had in my life. Cannot thank them enough!

Accommodations were very nice. Bedroom was large with a love seat. Bathroom was large with snail shower. We had access to a second adjoining room with kitchenette and dinning table plus sitting area. Bay is across the street with no buildings obstructing view. Convenient to dining.

Lovely bed and breakfast! Great, clean, spacious room. Nice location directly across from the beach. Luke was helpful and an excellent host. He provided excellent tips and we really enjoyed staying in Kaikoura - we saw whales, fur seals and an albatross....all part of the local fun!

Great family room
We only had one night here but would have enjoyed longer. Room (queen and single beds) large and well laid out just off lounge / kitchenett area. Beds comfortable and lovely spacious shower / bathroom with off street parking. Breakfast was continental and generous. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

Great location, slightly out of the main hustle of the town. The Forest room was newly refurbished, very large and clean (slept 3 akthough we were just a couple). We also had use of a separate adjacent kitchenette/sitting room with a TV hich was great. Luke, our host, was very helpful with information about the area and provided us with a lovely continental breakfast. Highly recommended

Very nice bed and breakfast across the street from the beach. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very nice overall - I loved the bathroom. My only small critique is that the bed mattresses could’ve been better. The room was wonderful though and nicely decorated. I’d definitely stay again!

Greeted by host Luke and Kylie plus their beautiful toddler River. They gave us a complete rundown on local sights and restaurant options. Welcoming and very natural as if we were family. The room was very spacious, warm and well equipped. The bathroom was a delight with space, features and modern design. Continental Breakfast was more than adequate and included a great conversation with hosts.

Very nice large room and we also had access to a living room area. The owner was very friendly and had great suggestions for hikes and dinner. They served a continental breakfast which was simple but good.

Inn the Bay was nice
Host Kylie was pleasant and vocal about experience and local trips. Room was large with a nice bath and visually comforting decorations. On the whole an experience to be revisited.

Best Hosts Ever!
Best hosts for any Bed n Bfast by far. Location is great and rooms were spacious and clean. Bed was comfy and toilet was all well equipped. Felt even better than many 4/5 star hotels. Kylie was all ready to assist us in any enquiries about the local sites or restaurants. Highly recommended.

Could a place ever be perfect? Well this place is close Lovely welcoming hosts who are more than willing to work around your needs...a great room with an epic shower!!! Fantastic spread for breakfast. Kaikoura is a town that needs (and deserves) peoples business...its simply beautiful and this was the perfect place to stay BEST PLACE WE STAYED AT DURING OUR 3 WEEKS IN NZ!!

Lovely house right on the seafront, Luke and Kylie were great hosts making us very welcome despite our late arrival (due to road closures caused by the earlier earthquake). Our room was large, spacious, beautifully decorated and appointed. There was a mini kitchenette with fridge and microwave available if needed. The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and modern with shower/wet room and complimentary toiletries provided. A very tasty continental style breakfast is provided by Kylie in the upstairs dinging room. Lots of advice and tips about trips to take and what the area of Kaikoura had to offer was also available. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose, Thanks Luke and Kylie, hope all goes well with the new arrival!

Worth the drive!
Kylie and Luke were wonderful hosts. They emailed us over a week ahead of our booking to let us know about the road restrictions into Kaikoura and to give us directions, which was incredibly helpful. They also kindly waited up for us as the longer route meant we arrived late. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. The inn is beautifully placed for great ocean views and is only 5-10 minute walk from the center of town. Kylie and Luke provided maps, tips and restaurant recommendations. Our room was comfy, clean and spacious. We also had a shared lounge which was very comfy with a great selection of tea, coffee and even homemade cake! Parking is also provided right outside the entrance with individual signs for guests to avoid confusion. Breakfast was delicious- a great selection and delicious eggs, bacon and home baked toast. The drive to Kaikoura is no doubt a long one with the earthquake- destroyed roads. However, the views on the drive are spectacular and the hospitality we received in town and especially from Luke and Kylie made it absolutely worthwhile.

Great stay with a large room, awesome fresh breakfast and the owner was lovely. We will definitely be back next time we are in Kaikoura. Do be aware when booking this is a room in someone's house (they live upstairs and the rooms you stay in are downstairs) rather than a purpose built b&b/hotel.
