"We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Whispering Pines! We stayed in a king-bed room; very comfortable bed, clean bathroom with walk-in shower, a small kitchenette that included a refrigerator w/freezer section, microwave, and sink. The TV and wifi worked well during our stay. This was the perfect motel for us as we explored the June Lake area and Mammoth Lakes. Having the refrigerator and microwave helped us plan food and picnics. And wonderful bonus: amazing view of Horsetail Falls and mountain...

"Location was great. Very quiet at night, which is really good. The mattress was too soft, look like it was too old."

"The hotel was under renovation. There was no pool, and no hot tub. The air conditioner in the room didn't cool the room, so we had to open the windows to let in cooler air; wouldn't have minded the fresh air, except there was construction next door that started at 7am and the noise came right through the open windows. The front desk did provide a box fan the second night, but they couldn't fix the A/C. The "hot breakfast" was nothing more than a pile of scrambled eggs and sausage patties. ...

"I ended up in a room next to their laundry room for the facilities, employees were washing at 11pm, the bed was shaking and noisy while they were doing their work. Nobody at office so, I called the number for the hotel, the employees who answered the phone call was upset because of the time, she hanged up. I couldn’t sleep well."

"First off, I never write reviews... but with how disappointed we were, I felt compelled to share my thoughts. We don't go on vacation very often so this was certainly a splurge for us. The hotel was very pretty and we liked our room but, the staff wasn't very friendly. I mentioned that the milk was sour at the complimentary coffee bar and it was not handled even after 4+ hours later when I went back to get some coffee.
