"We enjoyed our stay at the Le Mersenne and loved the detail and design of the room. Well appointed. The service was great, location is close to Paje Beach and the Treehouse Restaurant but also far from Stone Town and other popular beaches so plan to either book a driver or rent a car. We booked a scooter thru the hotel and traveled to Paje. DJ played great music at the hotel. We loved the vibe! With that said, a few things to be noted … Limited food options and we grew bored of the pricey...

"This is an idyllic, quiet, adults only hotel. The rooms are lovely and modern with air conditioning. The staff are super friendly and helpful. "We had a lovely family bungalow for our 3 night stay and this hotel is in a good location. Donna the masseuse was excellent, and the staff were all very welcoming. The only downside was the restaurant had limited vegetarian options for our daughter and the lighting in the evening didn't make it feel cosy so we ate elsewhere. The Kuza cave is only around 20 minutes walk away and well worth a visit."

"The staff were amazing. It felt like a family environment. I was quite emotional after I left. The managers and staff did everything possible to make my stay perfect. Benjamin, kitchen staff and housekeeping and all cleaners helped me out a-lot during my stay. This was a dreamy luxurious stay. I was even given complimentary treats on my arrival. I booked the Ocean view prestige Villa and it was a great decision. You have bikes at the villa which you can use to explore around the resort and gardens. The spa is extremely amazing. I loved my therapist Anna she was brilliant. Highly reccomend."
