Best Western Manchester

"Overall this Best Western was excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable. The location is convenient. I recommend it to almost everyone. From the perspective of accessibility, I have yet to find a hotel that I could comfortably stay at if I were in a wheelchair or otherwise seriously needed proper accessibility. Here, there is a really good start, but still noticeable problems. For starters, the high beds (in hotels generally) are a challenge for just plain short people to climb into. The soap and shampoo dispensers are located above my head when standing, never mind seated - and not located where they could be reached from the shower chair. And the control and the hand-held shower were likewise over my head in an otherwise very accessible shower. Progress has been made in terms of accessibility, but obviously some choices and decisions are made without an understanding of the consequences."

"Was in one of the studio rooms off to the side. Great little room, plenty of space! The shower has awful pressure compared to the sink. The mattress is as hard as a rock. Went over to Walmart & got a mattress topper….not even that could fix it. Walked out of my shower and my feet were black from the my walk to the bed…floors looked clean. I guess not? The pool is chilly but refreshing after a hot tub soak. Breakfast was good. The staff was super friendly & extremely friendly. Only 1 washer & dryer unit, if you need to do laundry."
