"A wonderful place to stay! Breakfast was good with a nice variety, even a country boy who loves bacon and eggs. Front desk staff were amazing and very friendly. The air conditioning had me a little worried at first but it came through towards the end of the day. Our vacation was at the end of summer so it was understandable. They gave us a fan for our room which help. I would recommend this place again and again."

"Stayed as couple for 2 nights in triple room, towards end of trip to South Korea and Japan. Pros: 1. Staff very helpful and friendly. 2. Very clean, comfortable, quiet, serene and good amenities. 3. Adequate breakfast. 4. Excellent location for Changdeokgung palace, Anguk hanok village, Ikseon-dong eateries, Insadong Cultural street and Korean Folk Music Museum. 5. Near two subway stations. Cons: 1. Can’t think of any."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely stay here again! Check-in was incredibly easy and efficient. We were also able to check in earlier than the standard time by signing up for the hotel’s free loyalty program. The sign-up process was quick and painless, and it was well worth it for the added convenience of getting into our room early. The location is fantastic. The hotel is conveniently close to the train, making it easy to get around, and it’s also within easy reach of Myeongdong Night Market and Namdaemun Market. There were plenty of things to explore, eat, and shop for right nearby, which made the location especially convenient. Another great feature was the washer and dryer in the lobby. You do need cash to use them, but having laundry facilities right at the hotel was incredibly convenient. It meant we could wash clothes during our trip and avoid bringing a suitcase full of dirty laundry home! Our room also had exquisite views of the city and surrounding hills. Waking up to that scenery was definitely a highlight of the stay. Overall, this hotel offered a great combination of convenience, comfort, location, and thoughtful amenities. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again!"

"We loved our stay here! The rooms are incredibly small, but it was enough space for us to manage 5 suitcases and 2 backpacks. Everything was so clean, the staff was lovely, and the spa was incredible, plus you get a discount on the spa during your stay! We would happily stay again."

"That was my another Toyoko stay. Compare to others that was not the best. Breakfast was OK but the room was not clean, hair was everywhere. Bed was comfortable, bigger then other hotels offered."

"It was a good experience overall but there were some inconsistencies from housekeeper. They took our bathrobes and never gave us replacements right after the first and second day of our stay. They also didnt provide trash bags for the garbages in the bathroom and kitchen except for the first time which feels strange for a 5 star hotel but overall, I am thankful for the job they did helping us clean up the room and there were no other qualms besides that. The washer dryer combo was terrible though and I do not recommend using it unless you plan on being there when it finishes because your clothes will just be a soaking wet mess after the “dry cycle.”"
