Basic but friendly - value for money

Basic but perfectly comfortable accommodation as a business traveller. Staff friendly and helpful (we needed to do a data change on the spot for one in our party which was happily accommodated). Furnishings and fittings a little tired and in need of renewal (the 2-prong plug point was so worn out that my phone charge kept falling out). Hot shower with good water pressure was greatly appreciated.

Great value for money

The randburg load lodge has become a home ffrom home. The staff (Lindiwe) is always friendly and heplful. I was happy to find that they have upped the cleanliness of the rooms cos the last tme standards had dropped somewhat

GOOD VALUE IN GREAT LOCATION IN RANDBURG

Road lodge in Randburg offers good value in an excellent location with comfortable accommodation that serves one well if you just away for a night or two as space is small and room amenities limited. But it does what it promises - a clean place to have a decent nights sleep at a good rate - I will however say, that the bed was a little hard for me and pillows a little too soft and cleanliness was not as great as I know other Road lodges to be - a little dusty and I found a used water bottle from a previous guest behind couch - but these are minor issues. Overall staff were friendly and helpful

Upon arrival, I was treated as a priority seeing that I was a regular guest to the hotel. The staff (especially the training manager) was professional and friendly, willing to provide a room with a specific view I requested. The room was clean and (seemingly) spacious because of the renovations and designed with the smoking guest in mind. It was a comfortable stay and I enjoyed it as always. Please pass on these tips to Road Lodge Centurion as that branch is in need of a few upgrades and their pricing has gone through the roof with no added benefits. Thanks.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. However, I am writing this review at 4:30 A. M. because the AC kept switching from warm (not hot) to cold every 5 minutes. I had to turn it on and off the whole night just to stay warm. I could have asked for a technician to fix it but those guys never come so I didn't bother. I'm a regular. With winter approaching, please maintain your AC or conduct a tune-up on the units. It was freezing.
