Overall stay was great. Rooms were clean and fresh. Only issue we had that the heater did not work. Few blankets sorted that out. It was reported but was. It fixed by the time we left. Great Indian buffet all halal

Dissappointing Service

The rooms are beautiful, but the toilet was not flushing , called reception, waited over an hour for them to respond and only to say they don't have a maintenance person available and their system is down so they cant find us another room, very disappointing service - we had a family room and 2 kids and the toilet not flashing was a huger issue , we physically filled the cistern with water so that it could flush!!!

Good hotel with excellent food services.

Need to appreciate services of Front desk officer SIICHUMBUZO who has really helped us to his best of abilities. He is fully customer centric employee. We also got an early check in and good food at resulturant Lal Qila. All other services are good except bathroom which needed to be more user friendly.

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay although it was just for 1 night. The indoor heated pool was ideal and a big plus for this hotel. The breakfast at the restaurant was great. Thoroughly enjoyed by all in my family. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here during my next trip to Johannesburg.

Unsafe, Uncomfortable, Misleading and Dishonest

This hotel is in a very undesirable location in Johannesburg. In fact, it is gated and surrounded by guards, which made us extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here if you are interested in safe and comfortable accomodations. This is also a religious-affiliated hotel and does not say so anywhere in the description. No alcohol is allowed on the premises and the entire hotel needs major repairs and updates. There was a hole in the tub and the curtains did not open. We checked in and checked right back out within 30 minutes of seeing our room. The hotel worker at the desk assured us that it would not be a problem to get a refund since we did not even stay at the hotel for 30 minutes, but once I returned home and attempted to get a refund through Hotels.com, I was told that the hotel was completely unwilling to refund my money, which was both misleading and dishonest. I am an avid traveler and have never felt so uncomfortable and unsafe at a hotel. We left promptly and booked with another hotel.

I was so frustrated by housekeeping, it took them more than 30min to bring a iron and after 10min they started calling after every 3min requesting that iron. i had my two sons and my wife which meant it would take longer to iron all our clothes. Breakfast was not really English most of the food was too chilly kids could not eat it.

Fabulous hotel close to Airport
