Having booked a luxury room, I discovered that it had no air-con - which in summer time is less than what was promised (and expected). The lady that attended to me seemed to flummoxed by the issue. To her credit, she did manage to get me into another room, which had air con. Mercifully, the rest of the stay (just one night), was uneventful.

Decent Place in nice area

Postives: Comfy beds, clean linen, nice tea/coffee service, friendly staff- made a room change easy for us, safe parking area Negatives: First room was on main entry path which made it noisy as others came by, several spiders and after 3 bites we changed rooms, no screens on windows(Mozzie spray provided,) shower spray weak and dripping.

Good if you'd like a retreat away from usual business options. Staff is unfriendly but more "homely" than professional. I enjoyed the personal touches but other business travelers may have different requirements.

Lovely inn in a residential neighborhood

Sandton Inn Inanda was a lovely place to stay. The staff are very nice and accommodating, the breakfasts are pleasant, the grounds are beautiful, and the price is good. If you're just there for vacation and are renting a car, this place would be ideal. If I have any reservations about staying there again, it is on logistical grounds. I was in Sandton for business at a conference center in Nelson Mandela Square, and the inn is tucked away in the Inanda neighborhood. In any Western City the 3 km of distance would be a lovely little walk; in the Sandton neighborhood of Johannesburg this is technically possible but unadvisable - there are barely sidewalks, putting one at the mercy of car services. Fortunately I found these mostly reliable, but it was still a pain to get around because phone service is spotty. Because of this, if I go to Sandton for work again I will likely stay in more expensive lodging near the city center, which will still be a deal if I'm not paying for car services.

Sandton Lodge Inanda is like a home away from home. The staff is just wonderful. Very service minded and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean and the location is quite and safe. I will stay there again. Recommended!

Although this lodge is nice, social area is not / cannot be isolated from rooms so the noise from other customers might become really annoying. Other hotels might have better facilities for a similar price.

I honestly enjoyed my stay at the Lodge and felt at home, away from the usual hustle and bustle of city hotels. I felt like a guest and not a statistic. The atmosphere was warm and homely. I would stay at the Lodge whenever I am in that part of the world. The Management was welcoming and ready to assist in all that i required to make my stay comfortable. I was satisfied and truely enjoyed my stay.
