My family and i had a wonderful stay at Faircity Grosvener Gardens. The unit was clean and comfortable. However we would liked to have a more spacious shower. Location was excellent for us as it was close to the University of Pretoria and the area was pleasant apart from a bit of traffic noise. This was our second visit and i am quite certain we will not hesitate to use this establishment again.
I have stayed here often and it never disappoints. Check in is seamless, the room is clean, spacious, and well maintained. This time there was a thunderstorm taking place and the person on duty met me in the parking lot with an umbrella to use so I wouldn’t get wet. That was an unexpected blessing.
We visited for a family wedding in Pretoria. The Grovsener Garden was a very nice apt style guest house. Very nice furnishings and polite and helpful staff.
Stay was average, furniture very dated and aircon not working properly, telephone not working, underfloor heating not working

GOOD VALUE SELF CATERING LACKING X FACTOR
It was pleasant but a rather average place which runs very much like a self catering and far less than a Hotel.Nice quiet location close to many things in the area. Spacious rooms that needs some maintenance - bedding was clean but in need of replacing. Rooms are looking tired and fixtures need some buffing up. It is well priced and decent but lacks an X factor and actual facilities besides wifi, self catering and parking - I was comfortable but not overly impressed - 2 days in a row clean towels only came much later. Lots of potential but ultimately a 3 star standard masquerading as a 4 star
the place is neat and beautiful. tue receptionist is a bit cold. mayb i found her in a bad mood. just plain cold. it felt like she was irritable

Bien sans plus
Très grand appartement, salon, cuisine, 2chambrres, grands lits confortables. Literie confortable et propre. Salle de bain rudimentaire. Sols sales. À l'étage sans ascenseur, vous montez seul vos bagages.
Unfortunately on the reservation confirmation I received it stated a seperate bedroom. However when we arrived we were told that they do not have seperate bedrooms, only studio apartments. This was a big let down as we specifically booked it for the seperate bedroom as I had to entertain and was forced to do it in the bedroom / lounge
We had a two-bedroom, fully furnished apartment. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The rooms are spacious and we did not feel cramped for space at all. It was hot and the air cons worked very well in both bedrooms. It was also quiet and we felt very safe and relaxed in their location.
I had a very good n peaceful stay.I was in a two bed apartment. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The sofas looks a bit old. For self catering it very good. Everything is there. Plates, glasses, cups, knives etc. Anyway my stay there was very nice.
Had a good time, properly managed apartments, security, cleanliness and quality

Dissapointing
The bed had bed bugs, was literally been eaten alive, ended up sleeping on the couch. No hot water in the morning, had a cold shower. Definitely not 4 star.
We stayed one night arriving late and leaving the next day for the Bulgarian Embassy. Easy access from highway, clean and large rooms and friendly staff.
This facility has one major thing going for it, its location. It's in one of the nicer parts of Pretoria, within easy reach of restaurants and other services, also has an order-in service. However, overall, a disappointment. If you have the word "gardens" in your name, it'd not be unreasonable for people to expect a garden setting and that was not the case. While the rooms have the standard facilities one finds in similar places, almost everything in the rooms had a "tired" look about it. I think it's time to refurbish. Floors, especially in the bathroom left one wanting to be sure not to walk around barefoot in the unit. In general, the place was not well cleaned. I arrived over a weekend and traffic was not too bad but Monday morning, I was woken up early by the traffic noise, can't blame the hotel for that, but just something prospective customers may need to take into account. Night staff at reception (I think the shift goes from 5 p.m. to 7.00 a.m.) were very pleasant and helpful, not sure that I could say the same for the day staff.
