The Sandy beach by the pool makes it feel like a proper “beachside” getaway. The entire environment is peaceful and quiet.

Excellent spacious lodges, relaxing space well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful, perfect for any type of stay. Great for a group stay with independence. Only disappointment was lack of lighting around the huts made BBQ really difficult at night having to use phone torch and candle. Wish staff had communicated this when I stared I would be BBQ-ing at check-in or offered some further lighting.

Nice lodge quiet located

Lodge is quiet, but located not too far from shopping/restaurants possibilities. Downside is they only take cash; don't take credit cards or have other means of guaranteeing reservations than bank transfer, which is very expensive for oversea customers

Bedden waren zeer goed, Het is zeer schoon en makkelijk toegankelijk,. Minder vond ik de keuze in Ontbijt alhowelwat er was werd vers voor je gemaakt. Vers Fruit was er helaas niet maar het is er wel als je er van te voren naar vraagt.

Total relaxation.

Magnificent accommodation. Very peaceful and relaxing break. We stayed in the superb honeymoon suite which was just outstanding. Highly recommended place if you just want chill out. Some good restaurants close by too.

Beautiful lodge! Our private chalet was spacious, spotlessly clean and amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was so sweet and helpful. The grounds are stunning and it is located in a safe and serene area outside of Johannesburg. Would love to stay here again. It was a phenomenal start to our 2 weeks in South Africa.

Saubere schöne Anlage und gute Lage

Es handelt sich um eine saubere und schöne Lodge mit kleinen Häuschen. Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist zunächst etwas versteckt, aber sehr praktisch! Abgelegen (ruhig) aber trotzdem ist man in 15 min am Flughafen und in 10 an einem Shopping-Center, das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lodge ist rundum zu empfehlen.

Everything was very good except the 10 a.m. checkout. Most hotels have a 12 p.m. checkout which allows for a leisurely breakfast and relaxing before checking out.

Sehr schöne und sichere Lodge

Sehr schöne und sichere Lodge in Joburg. Um die Ecke ist der Lion Park und bis zum Flughafen sind auch nur 40min. Ein Abendessen beim Chiefs Boma war Hammer. Wir kommen wieder.

Definitely not 4star hotel.

Not sure how this hotel was graded as "4star" by the Tourism Grading Board. It definitely is NOT. We booked the Aquanzi Lodge because of their advertisment about having a HEATED POOL for my 3 year old daughter. Before making the booking i called the lodge to check the temperature of pool water and they advised that it was 27 degrees. We arrived at the lodge only to find that they do not have any card facilities ( without being pre-warned) and was requested that we settle out room accomodation with cash. Given that their are no onsite atms and the closest one was in a mall that was 5kms away this was quite inconveinent. Nevertheless i made an EFT on site ( after much hassel given there was no WIFI or cellphone signal to make an internet banking payment). After making the payment and emailing the proof to payment to the Lodge we were not allowed to check into our rooms until they physically received the email from FNB. I even showed them the payment from my actual internet banking and downloaded the proof from there. After a +/- 30min wait and a few arguments we were eventually allowed to check into our rooms. The hotel also advertises its WIFI capability.... which we found out only exists at th pool. Not sure who in this day and age uses WIFI in the pool area. No cellphone signal or WIFI anywhere else at the lodge.... also quite an inconvenience. Despite their advertisement of having a heated pool, the water was freezing. The pool attendant said that it was not put on.

Der Aufenthalt ist nur zu empfehlen, ob als Übergang zur nächsten Safarie oder einfach zum relaxen. Ausstattung der Lodges, Service, Freundlichkeit ich war begeistert und war bestimmt nicht zum letzten mal in der Aquanzi Lodge.
